Afro's just blowing a lot of hot air with an inflated opinion of his own self-importance....
He might make a phone-call here or there to the WICB, chat off the ear of someone who's trying to do some work, and has to impatiently listen to him, and is happy when Afro finally hangs up. Then, Afro goes away from the conversation believing he can influence the decision-making process in the WICB.

Kieran Powell (KP):Who are your cricketing heroes?
Affers, I know you don't believe a word I say so maybe you can tell me what you make of young Powells comments, seeing as your so close to the actionWithin the current international set-up, I would say ...x x and Chris Gayle. I admire...x x..and Gayle because of their ability to finish games. They also remain so cool and calm in any situation.

Afro, this guy on cricinfo is talking to you....
Marvin: "I think westindians are getting to comfortable with mediocrity. We continually make excuses for poor ( non fighting) performances against the top teams and and laud wins against "lesser" teams. How long are we going to rebuild for?"

Is Afro's real name Phat Boy?
Phat Boy: "@Marvin. Join a few of the West Indies fans Facebook pages and see how happy they are with mediocrity. No-one is happy with it. But the simple fact is this: No great ascension in team sport has ever been instant. The Australians spent six years getting flogged by EVERYONE - a draw against the Kiwis was considered a success - before slowly beginning the climb, which culminated in 12 years or so at the peak. The West Indies were lions at home but whipping boys away for 40 years prior to 1976. India are still searching for consistent away wins 50 years after they first started to produce good players (with a billion people to pick from). Five years ago the West Indies weren't competitive with anyone, anywhere, in any format. Now they are world T20 champions, a good HOME ODI team, and competitive against anyone in the Caribbean in Tests. The next step is beating teams like NZ and SL away from home. Small steps."
Delusion United....
