Pakistan starts its campaign in the two-Test series against number-one ranked South Africa, from Monday 14 October in Abu Dhabi, with an opportunity to reclaim its number-four position on the Reliance ICC Test Team Rankings table.

My earliest memory of Pakistan cricketers is that of attractive, athletic and talented cricketers. That has not changed, but part of Pakistan's problem is that they do not persevere with players to get continuity.

They chop and change far too often and that is not terribly good. Yes there is also the issue with the administration.......
