Mail ..
Did you think before you responded?
If you have been reading over 50 years and you are not referring to Indian papers ..hmmm
so it means you have not read such papers? Why would I want you to write to such a publication what you do is none of my business.
I read every thing I can , its the only way I see a glimpse of the other side , Its how I learn ,
for the record I have been reading longer than you have .Show respect to your elder young man.
toodles

I would assume you ask a genuine question. Although neither a theologian nor an expert, I have a great interest in comparative religions.Gils wrote:Does that rule out God residing in the man.Mail wrote:Stop being idiotic by calling a man God.
If you subscribe to a philosophical view, the study of matter and in particular the perspective of Abu Bakr ibn al-Arabi, you will believe in one existence...God, everything else is an illusion. So to that end God is within you and as a result you can worship yourself. It is a practice of Monism or perhaps an excuse for Pantheism.
However this view is juxtaposed to the messages as delivered by God's Prophets from Adam to Mohammad and does not mirror the views of monotheism.
Hope this helps.

Yes thanks Mail. *The subject of discussion and nature of inquiry is a little too acute to gratify the mundane masses.
Pessimism is part and parcel of the human condition but I don't believe anything, nothing, I make it my business to know.
