The quality of club cricket is so low that it doesn't quite cut it at this level....Picking Roach would be a very big risk at this stage. However, I do think that if he wants to play in the Tests, then he has to play in one or both of the warm-up matches in Trelawny.
As for Holder, his last competitive match was in the dung heap back in March...he's been warming the bench at Hyderbad since then. That cannot be enhancing arguments for his selection...he won't be fit enough to play three back-to-back Tests.
Playing both Roach and Holder would be a serious risk....
