how many tests kallis play?

there is no comparison. kallis is an overcautious, grafter and accumulator, worse than gavaskar, who could hit the ball and attacked often enough. worse than boycott who was a better batsman than kallis, came up in better times, dealt faithfully with much beter bowlers than kallis have grafted against the world over.

sobers was a massive batsman, all class, technique, courage, determination never better than when runs were needed, a test match to be saved or won...with bat and ball.

double centuries were nothing to sobers, even triples. sobers used to DOMINATE! win games, do the improbable at all times in every aspect of the game, batting bowling or fielding.

kallis cyan make a million runs he is not better than sobers, not even close> I will not even entertain such a comparison so tendentious it is.

Gary sobers as batsman alone is one of the 5 best of all time. kallis counts or has appeared not a single all time list I have ever seen..as batsman, bowler or all rounder.

Kallis may be a better batsman than Imran Khan fwas or example! but is he better bowler? far from it

baichan cudda, wudda have a better average than bradman but wud baichan ever have scored 300 in a day?

its the same principle with Kanhai!

Kanhai did not make as many as sobers. he played less tests than sobers. but in what Kanhai did we saw clearly the level of ability in him to be able to judge hig against the rest and conclude that he belongs right at the top.

its the same with sobers who played about 93 tests. Kallis is what 150 now or getting there! these are unheard of totals back in the day.

sho me on day and one innings in the Kallis archives in which he came out and dominated a great attack with great creative skill, against the odds, with tailenders, injured, wickets down to win and save a game

then ask yuhself how many times sobers did exactly that! not once, twice but often!

next question :D :D

make a substitutin here Bally...and try to ansah yuhself!

its 1968 at Sabina and the yardies an' dem make a wicket conceived in hell for wat was, it the second test match of that year?

England had a great side with tough, hard batsmen led by Cowdrey. bu Engalnd had an even better bowling side with John Snow, David Brown and Jeff Jones...big fellas, fast and good...especially Snow, who is rated among the best English of all time.

Engwins the toss, bats on the first day, the only day the wicket is decent. after that it crumbles and all hell breaks loose for the westindies. they are shot out by Snow first time up. second time up its more tears though a lil better...until Sobers dat is.

when yu see Kallis do what sobers did on dat wicket against dat bowling over 2 days, den call mih, and tell me that you could have seen it, predict it, and dat indeed Kalis better dan Sobers
