Trinidad and Tobago all-rounder Kieron Pollard has been confirmed as a target of English county Somerset.
In 2010 Pollard helped Somerset to the Friends Provident T20 final and they are already looking to securing his services for the coming season.
Andy Hurry, Somerset's coach, hopes Pollard will sign with the county after being injured out of the final, after being struck in the face by a Dominic Cork bouncer.
Hurry told BBC Somerset recently that Pollard was "bitterly disappointed" at missing the final, saying the West Indian all-rounder has a feeling of "unfinished business". Somerset lost the tied final by virtue of losing more wickets.
"I went to his room at three o' clock in the morning after the (2010) final and he was in tears and felt he had let everybody down," Hurry related. "That stands us in good stead for the forthcoming season."

I see Pullhard made a quickfire 53 from 24 balls with 2 fours and 5 sixes. A 220 SR is not bad for a pro...
