cricket is a game to be played and explored within dat context. kallis does not play a game, he does not have a game but an approach that is nothing short of capitalist in the extreme.

I have never ever enjoyed anything I have seen of him! I always enjoyed westindian batsmen, batsmen like Ian chappell, David Gower, Virender Sehwag, Laksman etc

you can have Kallis man. keep him! he is all yours! :D :D :D

Bally, how come you chaps does get vex when people calling Kanhai good and not great, and use stats to make their case?

same thing u doing here...using stats to make Kallis greater than Sobers!

mere mortals cannot be greater than god!

fook stats! Kanhai is a great! kallis is juss good! Sobers is gawd! :P

i asked before and I will ask again...what their records after the same amount of tests?

It's the second time Jacques Kallis - with knocks of 161 and 109* - has scored a century in both innings of a Test. It is also the first time a South African batsman has scored a century in both innings in home Tests.

Kallis' century was his 40th in Tests, taking him past Ricky Ponting's tally of 39. Only Sachin Tendulkar, with 51 centuries is ahead of Kallis.

Kallis' average of 60.51 is the highest among all batsmen who have scored over 3000 runs in the team second innings in Tests.
