1) I never said Taylor was more than average. The vast majority of WI batsmen are average, including your beloved Jonathan Carter. The Leewards batsmen have been distinctly average this season, so giving Taylor only four matches while Richardson got eight was a travesty.
2) With regards to Liburd, this is just another example of Caribbean cricket's plantation-style politics thwarting the development of youngsters. It's been replicated throughout the region, such as the issue Gils raised on another thread - the stupid uniform stand-off in Barbados.
3) If Louis is an allrounder, then an allrounder who averages 22 with the bat this season shows exactly how far our batting in the region has fallen!
I'm sorry, but I don't call a player an allrounder, just because his fans say he is. You've been telling me for years that Jason Holder is an allrounder, and I'm still waiting to see it....
4) The Windwards won't want Hamilton. Fletcher is a better prospect with the gloves than Jahmar.
..if you actually went and looked at the damn stats you would find that he was stranded on not out at least three or four times last season which damaged his batting average because he was often stranded on 20 odd!!!...he's most certainly a talented batsman aswell as a good bowler but of course your fetish for running down young talent in the region will always shine through.
