What an exciting win for Hampshire!

it just goes to show that you don't have to have dead batting tracks where mediocre batsmen cart quality bowlers all over the park to have an exciting 20/20 game....

Hants got a great opening start, and should've posted more than 130-odd, and Barbados nearly nicked it at the end. However, only Dwayne Smith batted with any real authority, and the rest of the batsmen failed to stay with him. Smith has certainly saved his place in a side where the batting hasn't been that impressive in 20/20 cricket lately.

But what drama in the Superover!

When Benn got rid of Myburgh, Bajan fans dared to hope, but in the end Hants deserved the victory....
