At the opening Diamond League meet at Doha, Steven Gardiner of the Bahamas won the men's 400m in a national record of 43.87, ahead of Qatar's Haroun (44.50) and Isaac Makwala of Botswana (44.92).
The men's 200m was won by Noah Lyles of the US in a time of 19.83, ahead of Trinidadian Jereem Richards (19.99) and Ramil Guliyev of Turkey (20.11).

Jamaican Omar McLeod won a star-studded 110m hurdles in a time of 13.16, ahead of Cuban-born Spaniard Orlando Ortega (13.17). Russia's Sergei Shubenkov came third in 13.27, followed by Jamaicans Ronald Levy (13.33) and Hansle Parchment (13.48).

At the Jamaica International Invitational in Kingston on Saturday, local Jamaican 18-year old progidy Christopher Taylor won the men's 200m in 20.49, relegating more established stars Lashawn Merritt of the US (20.70) and South African Anaso Jobodhwana (20.72) to second and third respectively.

At the Eugene Diamond League yesterday, Jamaica's Janieve Russell clocked 54.06 to come from behind to pip Delilah Muhammed of the US (54.06) on the line in the women's 400m.
Another Jamaican, Omar McLeod, continued his dominance of the 110m hurdles, winning in 13.01, ahead of Russia's sergei Shubenkov (13.08) and Devon Allen of the US (13.13).

The women's 400m hurdles was won by American Georganne Moline in 53.97, ahead of Jamaica's Janieve Russell (54.08), and another American, Delilah Muhammed, who clocked 54.65.
Sharika Nelvis of the US won the 100m hurdles in 12.76, to finish ahead of Jamaican Danielle Williams (12.82) and Nigeria's Tobi Amusan (12.86).
The women's 400m was won by Bahrain's Salwa Naser in 50.51, ahead of Jamaican Steph McPherson (50.69) and Jade Stepter of the US (51.47).

At the Stockholm Diamond League, Jamaican Frederick Dacres threw a world-leading personal best of 69.67 to win the men's discus, ahead of his main rival this year, Andrius Godzius of Lithuania, who threw 69.59, and Iran's Ehsan Hadadi (67.68).
The women's 100m was won by Britain's Dina Asher-Smith in 10.93, ahead of Murielle Ahoure of the Ivory Coast (11.03) and Trinidadian Michelle-Lee Ahye (11.11).
The 100m hurdles was won by American Brianna Rollins-McNeal in an impressive 12.38, ahead of Jamaica's Danielle Williams (12.48) and Alina Talay of Belarus (12.55).

At the Paris Diamond League yesterday, there was a Jamaica one-two in the 110m hurdles. Ronald Levy won 13.18, ahead of Hansle Parchment (13.22), and American Devon Allen (13.23).
Frederick Dacres of Jamaica continued his dominance of the men's discus, winning with a throw of 67.01, way ahead of German Christoph Harting (64.80) and Poland's Robert Urbanek (64.68).
Jamaica's Shericka Jackson won the women's 200m in a PB of 22.05, ahead of American Jenna Prandini (22.30) and MJ Ta Lou of the Ivory Coast (22.50). The men's equivalent was won by sensational American Michael Norman in 19.84, ahead of Antigua's Rai Benjamin, the son of former West Indies cricketer Winston, who clocked 19.99 for second.
