AfCrow finally make an appearance.
Let's see how this Antigua test goes first.
But it's good to see our grounds men finally preparing pitches for our pace bowlers.
England 187 all out
Roach 4-30
Gabriel 3-45
Joseph 2-38
Holder 1-43

Interesting choice of language ...
England survive brutal onslaught on testing Antigua track to keep hopes of series-levelling victory alive
Meanwhile ...
BUMBLE AT THE TEST: This pitch was not good enough... but my accommodation certainly is!
England captain Joe Root demonstrates his limbo dancing skils to a delivery from Alzarri Joseph (and gets caught off his glove)
Shemika Charles demonstrates the correct technique (England batsmen take note)
Sir Curtly Ambrose and Sir Andy Roberts speak ...

"According to (former Trinidad & Tobago and West Indies cricketer Bryan) Davis, “The fast bowling looks good….Holder, Gabriel, Joseph and Thomas. But I wouldn’t like Oshane Thomas as a cover. Oshane Thomas deserves to be in the side. I would have picked him before Roach ..."

Further update:
"Roach has proven himself to be the best quick in a generation for the Windies and is proving as effective as ever after bouncing back from 18 months away from Test side ..."
West Indies vs England: How refined Kemar Roach has swapped pure speed for skill to torture tourists
" ... He takes four more here, for just 30 runs, in 15 overs. Last week, in Barbados, he took 5-17 in 11 overs. Since returning to the West Indies side in the summer of 2017, he has taken 53 wickets at an average of 22 and moved into the top 10 West Indian Test wicket-takers of all time. The day he maimed Ponting in Perth, he took 2-104 off 22 overs. The Roach of 2019 may be a slower and less basically thrilling bowler than he was a decade ago, but there’s no question he’s a better one. Quietly, along the rails, Roach has evolved into one of the greats of 21st-century West Indies cricket ..".

He simply can't avoid the language of enslavement ...
England's buccaneering raiding party repelled by sturdy West Indies resistance
Meanwhile ...
How England could do with qualities of an opener like Kraigg Brathwaite
BUMBLE AT THE TEST: You need luck on this pitch and John Campbell got plenty but Stuart Broad deserved more

However, there has been some incredibly sad news coming out of the West Indies camp. Alzarri Joseph's mother, Sharon, died this morning. CWI confirmed the news in a statement, adding: "Please join us as we express our heartfelt condolences to Alzarri and his family during this very difficult time." And so say all of us. How terrible.
Condolences, Alzarri....
