if this game get washed out, the H&H Supporters will be singing for joy. Here are some examples of their chants!

"we did not get white washed and was expected to"

"We avoided the white wash"

"Our performance was better than expected"

anyone like to add anything?

EngvWi STUMPS! (Not that they were ever inserted into the ground) Play has been abandoned for Day 1. Sad sight but right decision.

Ah well, at least there's the athletics in Oslo shortly....

Bolt vs Asafa the rematch, and Trinidad's Jehue Gordon over the 400m hurdles.

I thought it isn't called 'whitewash' anymore and now referred to as blackwash since its a WI team which mostly consists of black people?

Expect some rain today, but not as much as yesterday. There will be the possibility of some play, if they can find a way to drain the outfield.

The bigger problem may be the gale force winds sweeping the country, and causing problems with roads and trains. Travelling to Edgbaston may be an issue....

You would never see scenes like the one posted by Arnik above at other grounds with excellent drainage, such as Lords, Kensington Oval, Sabina Park and Providence.
