"THE Government has signalled that it intends to make good on its promise to sever colonial ties with Britain by bringing a Constitution amendment bill to Parliament to have the Queen of England Elizabeth ll, replaced with a non-executive president as head of state. This would do away with the governor general as the Queen’s representative here, and make Jamaica a republic. A non-executive president, like the governor general, would still be a symbolic leader and perform a representative and civic role but with no powers to make policy. But he or she could use discretionary powers for extraordinary political intervention, based on the Constitution."

Nearly 13 years ago, then Jamaican Prime minister PJ Patterson said he wanted the island to be a republic by the time he leaft office in 2007.
Nothing happened.

"Suddenly in the middle of lunch, I was on the left of her I think, and the Queen was in Africa at the time, and the Queen Mother leant over to me and said ‘Beware the blackmoors’. I can’t put that down."
William Shawcross’ authorised biography claims that she once walked into a reception with the Japanese Prince and said ‘Nip on! Nip on”. In another instance, she reportedly told Woodrow Wyatt that she “had some reservations about Jews,” and her lady-in-waiting that “the Africans just don’t know how to govern themselves…what a pity we’re not still looking after them.”

So, the Royal Family is racist...I can't say I'm surprised.

'Her Royal Highness Princess Michael of Kent' (formerly known as Baroness Marie-Christine von Reibnitz - the daughter of a major in the Nazi SS - was pictured wearing the brooch after attending the Queen's annual Christmas banquet at Buckingham Palace
Blackamoor figures and sculptures are exotic figures which usually depict African men and were prominent in the 17th and 18th centuries.
