Final athletics medal table:
USA - 32 medals, including 13 golds....
Kenya - 13 medals, including six golds....
Jamaica - 11 medals, including six golds....
All three countries did exceptionally well this Olympics. Jamaica equalled our medal haul in Beijing, and bettered the four golds we got in London.
Those countries with two gold medals are China, South Africa, Britain, Croatia and Germany.
Those countries with one gold medal are Ethiopia, Canada, Poland, Bahrain, Spain, Bahamas, Belgium, Brazil, Colombia, Greece, Tajikistan and the Slovaks.
