Just as I thought. Narine won't be effective here on these English pitches. He's getting carted around for a 4 every over by either 2 of the batsmen at the wicket.

If anyone thinks Narine was gonna have it easy on this dead track on his DEBUT is out of there mind, especially when Swann didn't even take a single wicket!!

Imho as far as tests go narine will be more effective at home against the kiwis.
In odis its a different matter. Batsmen take risks in odi cricket they wouldnt take in tests.

No doubt it's been tough for Sunil in his first spell, but for me he needs this, he's had everything go his way thus far in his short career, lets see how he reacts after tea, i wanna see him get at least three wickets in this match.

I don't think he's going to get any wickets. It looks like the English players are prepared for him and are reading him well. They need to bring on another spinner who they most likely wouldn't have prepared for maybe Deo?
