Hospitalisation of AFRO? I note that this topic has a midwifey however I think dat she on-call for nightnurse duties should CG waters ever bruk. And on today's evidence she is NOT needed, but before I summon her, tell me, is Obamacare? Or NHS? Or PHG? Hopefully not the last one cos dis midwifey nah wuking fuh talk. Chris Gayle, living it large, scoring 175 not out today.

And this brings up the century of replies on this topic    reached off a single tucked off the pads down to fine leg in the style of Sir Garfield Sobers.

Gayle gets the final over!
19.1 Gayle to Murtaza, no run, makes room and he mistimes the heave to midwicket

19.2 Gayle to Murtaza, FOUR, Murtaza gives him the charge and gets an outside edge that beats slip, Gayle sees the funny side

19.3 Gayle to Murtaza, OUT, Gayle does the Gangnam Style! Tossed up and Murtaza comes down the track and misses and Karthik breaks the stumps, the crowd and RCB love it

19.4 Gayle to Pandey, no run, fires that quicker and the ball hits Pandey's pads and there's an appeal! Missing leg

19.5 Gayle to Pandey, OUT, Gangnam Part 2! Gayle spears in the yorker, Pandey made room, and the ball crashes onto middle and leg, the celebrations continue

19.6 Gayle to Dinda, 1 run

Give thanks Howzdat,

Yet another murderaas knock, sweet as. It's just a pity his team mates couldn't help to finish the job.

:? The only batsman in T20 cricket to score a ton and end up on the losing side.

"As a team it was a tough match to play but individually for me it was good. We gave away 265 runs out of which I gave only 23 runs. That was satisfying for me," he told the IPL site after the match. "[But] when Gayle bats like that nobody wants to bowl, especially on a wicket like this where the ball comes on well onto the bat. All I can say is that it's tough luck for the bowlers if he decides to bat like that." In all Bhuvneshwar bowled seven balls at Gayle, conceding 11 runs. At the start of the game, Bhuvneshwar said, he was eager to get Gayle out as soon as possible, but as the match progressed he was happy to get him off strike. "With the new ball I was trying to get him out because he's that kind of batsman who can make up later on even if you bowl some dots to him initially," he said. "In the death overs I just tried to keep him off strike so that I can bowl to the other batsman. I just tried to keep the ball away from his body so that he can take a single and get off strike. During the first strategic timeout we spoke of getting him out as soon as possible. But we couldn't do that. We could have bowled better but then you never know. We tried to do different things but he just kept hitting. Ishwar Pandey was playing his first match in this tournament and he went for 21 runs in the first over, and he obviously became nervous. It happens when you're playing against Gayle."

Mumbai Indians 194/7 (20/20 ov). Completely different scenario from the last game. Let's see what Chris Gayle will serve up this time when the score being chased will require a good start.
I've got my hunches :D :D :D but i gonna keep it under wraps for the time being :)
Chris Gayle, living it large, scoring how much today? Well, this time i think it is 60/40 that whatever fireworks Gayle delivers will not be in a match winning effort... actually I am going firm up that hunch. Chris Gayle will not be living it large at the crease today ... but what do i know?

RCB 24/0 (3.0/20 ov) Chris Gayle 9 not out off 8 balls. This team is bowling much, much better against the Gayle force. Bally, what say you, pardna :?:

Unfortunately, I am not going to be able to see this one through. So whether my hunch proves right I will not know till much later. Whatever happens, hope it is fun!

Chris Gayle, living it large, scored 18 today.

Chris Gayle 19 not out as i type. No hunches today folks ... well i lie because looking at the Rajasthan Royals team i was tempted to ask, "is who doing the bowling". Lawd, dis could get messy, very very messy. Talking of Rajasthan and bowlers, maybe they need to scour the Aravalli Range in quest for a bowler. Oh those hills, how lovely they are :!:
