Well, well, howzdat's pep talk works wonders as Darren Bravo guides Windes to the verge of victory inside 3 days in the 3rd Test against England Anyway be that as it isn't and seeing as how Simmonds looks like he got a mind of his own I hear seh that the Irish considering offering him a short consulting assignment for an upcoming match: Only ODI: Ireland v England at Dublin May 8, 2015 (10:45 local | 09:45 GMT | 10:45 BST).
Apparently the Irish are so very impressed that their former coach's mediocre new charges have managed to beat the Poms inside three days in a Test match in Bridgetown, Barbados that they want tips on how they might achieve the same outcome albeit in a lil lickit bat and ball game. I even hear say datzhow is AFRO once again serving as lead negotiator.
Keep watching this space for updates....

So, Afro, any news on fixtures for the A team this summer?
I would prefer to see Shai Hope playing in an A team, instead of thrown to the wolves in Test cricket, and see such a potential talent destroyed by not properly grooming it.

What changed the thinking in the WICB camp?
Yes folks one of we buddies claiming to have offered 'considerations' to WI selectors. Can you Adam & Eve it? I for one is wondering ...
And less anybody ask seh is how datz any such claims differ from yours truly expressed opinion that Phil Simmonds might be worth a chance as Head Coach of Windies. All I gonna say in my defence is that his record spoke for itself and he had management experience. Besides which is how long now I declare my disclaimer
Anyway to close all I will ask is f it is reality that Windiesfans contributor changes mind of WICB???????

And just in case the WICB - or any of its elected or non-elected officers- issue a press a statement denouncing this topic as representative of the dark arts of antidisestablishmentarianism, mek i ask is who the owner of this inbox accountable to on matters of Windies cricket team performance pon de field of play? And also on team selection issues?
And while we aint gonna get any answer to such lunacy mek i just ask if the inception of this inbox is one of the more enlightened acts of patriotism this writer ever dreamt up?
I think that's all for now.

I even remember a few years back datz how you did seh that the writer of this lunacy does mek a few jokes and t'ing So surely I can earn a few shekels for myself hiring out my pen ... i mean keyboard skills ... to the highest bidder? What you think?
Is cos you aint come through with that job offer from the WICB yet that i getting desperate.

dum da dum da dum da dum spell it out, dear AFRO, yes, spell it out to them oh yeahAFRO wrote:Trust me i'm gonna spell it out for them loud and clear!...the trend is clear to see and it's not just a matter of "away conditions" because it happened at Sabina against NZ the other day .mikesiva wrote:This is why i keep saying our sides need to play more than one warm up match. The wicb must insist upon it. Our bowlers take time to adapt to different bowling conditions and by the time the first test starts it is too late.
This "spelling it out" wot Affers loudly and clearly intend fuh be spelling has been induced by the following match status:
Australia tour of West Indies, 2nd Test: West Indies v Australia at Kingston, Jun 11-15, 2015
The Frank Worrell Trophy - 2nd Test
Test no. 2166 | 2015 season
Played at Sabina Park, Kingston, Jamaica
11,12,13,14,15 June 2015 (5-day match)
Australia 399 & 212/2d
West Indies 220 & 16/2 (8.0 ov)
West Indies require another 376 runs with 8 wickets remaining ... mission impossible.
All i can say is that it look like Kirk Edwards bird escape from under he armpit - he uniform must be did finally get a wash - and alight pon a few newbie windies batsman.
Chandrika mek a double duck. Brathwaite mek duck & 4. Permaul mek duck. Taylor mek duck. And is more duck fuh come for sure. Is duck sickness aka "Rev-belly" in windies batting lineup and only he one laughing as he knock down the sushi. Talking of Rev, i bet even if chanders did play that duck would a thwart his aims ... if not personally then as we have seen above anyway.
On which note I will tek my leave from this AFRO's windiesfans.com inbox fuh the WICB Spelling it out subject for now in the hope that AFRO will be fulsome in his update. dum da dum da dum da dum spell it out, dear AFRO, yes, spell it out to them oh yeah
ps: where was i?
AFRO, I have an
After you spell it out to whomsoever(s) can you drop me a private message with the details Thanks. I have an idea to write some garbage under the heading of "AFRO's spell spills out on windiesfans.com inbox fuh the WICB."
I reckon i can word it up sorta like a scoop ... from the inside, so to speak, so i aint looking forward to any hollow, windbag sorta scoopy doo doos, AFRO. It must be like them reality tv shows i hear about sorta scoopy doo doos. Don't let me down? Thanks

But to answer your question if me and mi colleagues didn't talk to them you would't have the PCL, HPC, Expanded Nagico Super50 and plans for the u23 competition that will hopefully come within the next few years!!..And this is amongst many other structural changes we have fought for.

Sadly, I think that Simmons is on borrowed time in the role. He ought to stop complaining in public about who and who is unavailable for selection and get on with the job. If he doesn't like the 'environment' then he should resign ... or get fired.
By continuing to be reported as bemoaning the unavailability of 'seniors' He is beginning to sound as if he is looking for excuses. Gayle at 36 is not the future. Kieron Pollard (test class?) is 28, Dwayne Bravo is 32, Lendl Simmons (test class?) is 30. Andre Russell (test class?) is 27
The most that can be hoped for with these players in the team is a slowing of the rot. They could possibly make a winning difference between close Test series' against Bangladesh/Zimbabwe and to a lesser extent the current New Zealand team who are now streets ahead of WI.
Otherwise where is the future in them players?
