Especially when you consider that both Hughes and Jordan curtailed their participation in dung heap to join their counties....
Nash hit a useful 46 in Kent's drawn match.

Sarwan was out for 36 in the first innings, and he's 29 not out overnight in the second....

Sarwan was out for 46 in his second innings....
He now leads the runscoring stakes by more than a hundred runs:

Well look at that, a West Indian leading a mostly dominated Englishman County League cricket and he can't even get a spot on the WI team.
I guess WI have the best players in the world to be rejecting that fellow.

Don't forget Nash, who has just hit 108 not out for Kent against Leicestershire yesterday....

It's Kent vs Derbyshire, and I was so looking forward to Nash vs Hughes....but, shock and surprise, Chesney has been omitted! I don't believe it! Can it be true that the counties don't think much of the COTR?
It seems that Nash is better than COTR hopeful Chesney Hughes....
he made 62 in his second innings.
Maurice Chambers has taken five wickets in the match so far, for Essex against Hampshire....

It's the final round of county cricket, and the following players can't make their county side:
Chesney Hughes (Derbyshire)
Ruel Brathwaite (Durham)
Maurice Chambers (Essex)
Sarwan is out with an injury, and Nash plays for Kent....

LOL at mike still pushing for that old WI REJECT!!
, Nash DONE mike, the team just swept a series without him so get over it please!!,
As for Chesney, well clearly he's fallen out of favor with Derbyshire where the four day games are concerned, he's played the 40 over games but thats not good enough, so he's gonna have to make some big decisions now,
1. either look to join another county team
2. or show more commitment to Leewards
Same thing goes with Jordan, them two could easily play for their regional sides, join the hpc and then they'd be closer than ever to the WI senior side, and knowing their ability i think they'd have a good chance of representing WI within a year or so if they put in the hard work, i know county pays well but if they have any intentions of furthering their careers then they need to think long and hard about what they wanna do, at least Jordan played 3 four day games for Bim, Chesney hasn't even played for Leewards in that format yet.

The "team" beat lowly New Zealand...let's not get carried away now.
Everybody seems to be beating NZ these days....
But both Sarwan and Nash are better off without dealing with the politics of Windies cricket. They are both earning good salaries at their respective counties without the politics. Nash just hit another 50 for Kent today.
Look how high both Sarwan and Nash rank among the batting aggregate stats...2 & 3:

Ahead of young England prospects Sam Northeast, Andy Lyth and Joe Root. Of course, England rates the second division highly, because that's where they picked Jonny Bairstow from....
