Everybody seems to be beating NZ these days....
The same "lowly NZ" that had India on the ropes in the last test and just beat them in the t20? ok then!! ,

But both Sarwan and Nash are better off without dealing with the politics of Windies cricket. They are both earning good salaries at their respective counties without the politics. Nash just hit another 50 for Kent today.

Look how high both Sarwan and Nash rank among the batting aggregate stats...1 & 2:
Good, and mek dem STAY THERE!!!.. their last performances for WI were disgraceful and thank god they god DUMPED so new talent can emerge!! 8-) .

What was the final score in the Tests? 2-0 from two Tests, wasn't it? Surely you're not one of those who takes positives from a whitewash....
FYI, Test cricket is different from T20 cricket....WI and NZ can beat anyone on their day in T20 cricket. Luck plays a greater role in T20 cricket than it does in Tests. WI beat England and Australia in T20s...when is the last time they won a Test match against these teams?

India is meant to be one of the toughest places to tour and yet NZ went there and had India in SERIOUS trouble in the second test!!.. but yet you try to belittle them in order to downplay WI's clean sweep!!..it's pathetic mike!!...you just don't like the fact that we're WINNING without your fellow pensioners!!   .

Jordan left out of the Surrey team again....

Only Sarwan and Nash have been picked regularly for their respective counties. Says a lot about how highly their services are valued abroad.

Afro, if Sarwan ever make his way back to WI cricket you will have a stroke and heart attack! :D

COTR's like Chris Jordan?
Surrey have just released him....

http://www.windiesfans.com/forums/viewt ... f=2&t=5450" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

In the meantime, Leicestershire need Sarwan so much that they've signed a new contract with him, to last until 2014. What's the WIndies' loss is the Foxes gain. The same goes for Nash and Kent....

Until everyone in the top six can average more than Sarwan and Nash did in Test cricket, then they will both be missed in the batting line-up....

I take it you didn't see Sarwan FLOP in his first spell in county cricket at Gloucestershire then old boy?!!!

As for your last point!!!.. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH i see you're shaking your pom-poms for the "seniors" again...IT'S NOT GONNA WORK OLD BOY!!!.. they are FINISHED, fullstop, Darren Bravo avarages more than both of them, Samuels is leagues above them right now, Deonarine is a danger with both bat and ball, so who the feck do you want them to replace? grandpa Shiv? and neither of them are openers so don't bore me by naming Powell!!! ,

Your fellow pensioners are DONE mike!!.. now stop bawling and get in line as the progressive movements domination increases by the day!! 8-) .

The batting aggregates make for interesting reading....

http://stats.espncricinfo.com/county-ch ... tournament" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

1) Jimmy Adams (Hampshire) - 987 runs, ave 49.35

2) Ramnaresh Sarwan (Leicestershire) - 941 runs, ave 40.91

3) Brendan Nash (Kent) - 908 runs, ave 47.78

Something tells me that if the Windies repaired their fences, Sarwan and Nash are back on form, and could be a good addition to the middle-order. But, sadly, that's not going to happen under the present WICB setup.

Okay, Afro, let's look at their Test averages, and compare them to the current set-up....

Sarwan - 40.01
Nash - 33.42

This is the top six in the last Test against the Kiwis:

1) Chris Gayle - 42.32
2) Kieran Powell - 25.42
3) Asada Fudadin - 30.50
4) Marlon Samuels - 34.97
5) Shiv Chanderpaul - 50.20
6) Narsing Deonarine - 29.40

There are four players in that side who average less than Sarwan, and three players who average less than Nash. This top six may be good enough to beat New Zealand and Bangladesh, but just watch what happens when they come up against the big guys again....

Let's look at Darren Bravo's last 10 innings....6, 22, 3, 21, 29, 45, 10, 8*, 38, 32.

214 runs at an average of 23 with no score over 50.

How, let's similarly look at the last 10 innings of Sarwan and Nash in Test cricket:

Sarwan - 136 runs @ 13.6 with no score over 50.

Nash - 226 runs @ 22.6 with two scores over 50.

If Lil Bravo can be considered for a recall to the Windies side with that poor run of form in his last 10 innings, then so can Sarwan and Nash....especially since both Sarwan and Nash have signalled a return to form by batting on varying wickets in county cricket, while we still don't know if Bravo is back in form yet.
