I see a man at the ground with a sign that read something like, "For the next game push Gayle down the batting order".

I agree 120% so my sign reading "For the next game mek Gayle can bat @ #12". If he still fail, drop him.

Rumour has it that Chris Gayle bats @ 5 today

With regards to Gayle's position in the order I note that the selectors have done well to ignore me (as well they should) however I do note that in a little nod to my imaginary placard they give themselves 7 places to play with for the next game :D

Is it do or die for Gayle in these next two games? I wonder if he is sweating over the toss in the hope that he gets a chance to bat :P :P ? We never know, if Chris Fayle (as i hear some referring to him as) today Devon Smith might be partnering Charles in the next game also.

I note also that with 5879 views this topic is just a thousand or so off Mr. Gayle's Test aggregate score :P :P Thanks allyuh really madder than me so I better put my head down, graft hard, post more garbage and hope that the trend continues so that I can reach my target

The rumour was well founded cause Smith and Charles open the innings.

This is becoming tedious.

Pakistan tour of West Indies, 1st T20I: West Indies v Pakistan at Kingstown, Jul 27, 2013

2.5 Gayle won't be hitting into the sea tonight. Hafeez has got him. Hafeez stays full and around middle and off, Gayle plays a defensive, but the bat is either hidden behind or is playing for an offbreak. This one goes with the angle, and Gayle seems pretty plumb despite that big stride of his. CH Gayle lbw b Mohammad Hafeez 5 West Indies 13/2

Gayle's wretched form continues, he's dismissed on 999 T20 international runs. CH Gayle c Shahid Afridi b Mohammad Hafeez 1 West Indies 2/2

Hi mike, re: the patois, given your knowledge what should it be?

As for where my money is on this one, i'm keeping mum since i nearly got the bottom cut from my trouser pockets in the IPL final. Wonder why the feeling is so strong for the Jamaica Tallawahs squad?
Sometime later on ...

CH Gayle run out 6 (9b 1x4 0x6) SR: 66.66
Well the game not done yet but if the Jamaican pluralised Tallawah dem are gonna win it wont be because Chris Gayle's lean patch came to an astounding, match-winning end.

8.2 Gayle to Sarwan, 1 run, pushed to long on

8.4 Gayle to Simmons, 1 wide, straying on the pads, ambitious appeal for caught behind, called wide

Sometime later on ...

End of over 14 (20 runs) Guyana Amazon Warriors 116/2 (2 runs required from 36 balls, RR: 8.28, RRR: 0.33).

Chris Gayle on to bowl the 15th over.
