At Dusseldorf tomorrow, Kim Collins of St Kitts and Trinidad's Marc Burns will run in the men's 60m, while in the 60m hurdles, Jamaicans Dwight Thomas and Vonette Dixon will run in the men's and women's events respectively....

'Saint Kitts and Nevis sprinter Kim Collins equalled the best time of the year in the men's 60 metres in a time of 6.52sec. The 34-year-old Collins, the world 100m champion in 2003, equalled the time set by Jamaican Nesta Carter, set in New York on January 28. "A new best time, excellent!," beamed Collins. "I wasn't expecting that here, the competition I was facing was pretty good."'

Jamaican Lerone Clarke won the 60m final at Karlsruhe with a PB of 6.52, ahead of Trinidad's Marc Burns second in 6.56. Pre-race favourite Kim Collins of St Kitts-Nevis faded into fourth, while American Mike Rodgers false-started and was DQ-ed.
Americans Kellie Wells and David Oliver convincingly won the 60m hurdles, with Jamaicans Vonette Dixon and Dwight Thomas third and fifth respectively....

And now it's on to the Aviva Grand Prix in England, and quite a few Caribbean athletes will be on show....
60m men - Kim Collins (St Kitts), Marc Burns (Trinidad), Lerone Clarke and Ryan Shields (both Jamaica).
60m hurdles women - Vonette Dixon (Jamaica).
400m women - Novlene Williams and Clora Williams (both jamaica).
60m women - VOnette Dixon (Jamaica).
200m men - Kim Collins (St Kitts) and Ryan Shields (Jamaica).

Mike Rodgers of the US won the first semi in 6.54, followed by Clarke (6.62), while Burns won his semi in 6.61 ahead of Collins (6.62). All four comfortably advanced to the final, but Shields did not, and Dixon hit a hurdle and finished last in the women's 60m hurdles....

Novlene Williams won the women's 400 in a time of 51.87, ahead of American-soon-to-be-Brit Shana Cox, while Rodgers won the men's 60m in a time of 6.50, with Collins coming second (6.53), Clarke third (6.54) and Burns fourth (6.55).

And Novlene is the only Caribbean athlete down to take part in the Galan meet, which takes place in Sweden tomorrow. Here's the startlist....

Czech Denisa ROdolova won with a time of 52.64, while Novlene clocked 52.91.
