Sammy is not worthy of a place in the westindies team. all previous knowledge and stats attested to that fact. while even I spoke of his decency at first, his individual results as captian and player establishes clearly Sammy is far, far from good enough to be on the side, far less captain.
Sammys presence weakens westindies, kills its team morale and cohesiveness, such as may be possible without him as leader..for all are aware that he is not good enough and weakens the team
a decent man would not have accepted the captaincy in the first place, despite the wicb president, Hunte being from his native island, and it would have been hard to deny such a personage.
yet any deceny Sammy had would have given him the strength to refuse, and to deal with Hunte in such a way as to maintian a standing in Huntes sight..if Sammy felt it was impotant to do that
and if for some reason Sammy may have thought to give it a shot, that he may have indeed turned out to be good enough and be a boost to westindies, results have rendered any such impression to have been wrong, and Sammys supposed decency would have him resign now.

Jala...if in the light of all that is involved. the looming disastrous consequences to the westindies if he continues as captain, Sammy does not resign, on his own, then he has no decency, is prepared to occupy a job he does not deserve with all the corrosive effect that has on the very team he is to lead.
that is not decency or even common sense. it is destructive of westindies cricket, the very thing he is supposed to honour, cherish and develop as a westindian cricketer and captain.
the history books will not take kindly to Sammy even if for such as Dennis Atkinson it does not even remember him now, a kindness for he Atkinson, a white Bajan, who became westindian captain as undeservingly as Sammy has, in 1955, made so by the chairman of the then wicbc Errol Dos Santos

Julian Hunte is as reactionary, manipulative, and destructive of westindies as Errol Dos Santos was...later recomended for and duly knighted by the queen on behalf of trinidad government.
and just as Dos Santos produced disaster and the total humiliation of the westindies tream and nation, just so the tenure of Julian hunte has produced disaster from the start, now on an escalating downslope to total ruin.
