Well actually Mike if you bothered to read my original post properly you'd see a revised team already because i said..
Gayle
Barath
Darren
Samuels
Nash
Bravo (c)-if he's still injured then Carlos Brathwaite or Kevin Stoute
Baugh
Gabriel/Russell
Roach
Pascal
Bishoo
Dwayne isn't injured but the difference is the same so my team would be....
Gayle
Barath
Darren
Samuels
Nash (c)
STOUTE
Baugh (wk)
Russell
Roach
Pascal-Gabriel
Bishoo
Stoute's FC record with both bat and ball speaks for it's self PLUS HE'S ALREADY PLAYED FOR THE A-TEAM AND TOOK an 8/56 wicket haul in England which made it into the record books for List-A cricket, so i'm sorry to dissapoint you Mike BUT NOTHINGS CHANGED!!

my team for this series is Pakistan!
Afraidi alone will beat the selected WI team!

You'd have Stoute in your team ahead of Shiv?
Afro, you really do come up with a lot of rubbish!
Shiv has to play in the first Test....
But the bigger problem is the one of who opens the batting....
If Barath was fit, surely he would've played an ODI by now. I can't see the selectors just slotting him in for a Test match without testing his fitness in a one-day match first....
Gayle is in the IPL, obviously....
Smith appears to have lost the confidence he displayed in the only Test he played in SL, and once again is clueless against spin. Do we persist with him in the first Test on the basis that his last Test innings was a decent one?
Simmons seems to be automatic choice to open the batting. But who opens with him in the first Test at Providence?

Oh look Mike is taking my quotes from weeks ago when everything was up in the air and talking ABSOLUTE GARBAGE again!!

,
1. SHIV IS DONE!!..his war of words with the WICB has pretty much finished him off, SO GET OVER IT!!.
2. Yes i would pick Stoute over Shiv BECAUSE STOUTE IS AN ALLROUNDER, i know you're an advocate of damaging our bowling unit in order to fit your friend into the starting line-up BUT IT'S NOT GONNA HAPPEN.
3. Barath is apparently fit again and is working on his fitness so there's still a chance he might play in the Tests.
4. If Shiv was gonna be selected for the Tests he would have got the same recall Sarwan got for these ODIs, thank god that hasn't happened!!

.
Now my team would be
Brathwaite/Barath
Simmons
Darren
Sarwan
Nash
Carlos Brathwaite/Stoute or Bonner (if we want to play two spinners)
Baugh (wk)
Roach
Pascal
Edwards or Permaul (again if we want to two spinners)
Bishoo
The captaincy can go to either Nash or Sarwan, i believe a team like this is more than capable of getting a positive result.

Yes Gabriel is super quick!!.. but i hear he has a no ball problem that he's working on at the HPC, he's certainy very promising though, Carlos Brathwaite could have a real chance of playing imo, he can bat very well and he was the best pacer in the last four day competition, i think he'd be a decent replacement for Dwayne Bravo.

there is no way sknash is captaining any westindian side. to hell with that!!
all things being equal Shive had to have been automatic for the westindies.
forget all that is extraneous, who is who fren an all dat! shive is a must until we are sure he has no more to give.. no more can be extracted.
not only as a metter of respect but one of common sense. yu have a batsman wh can occupy the crease more than any of the youngsters, who knows how to score ton after ton etc...yu ned his experience with the likes of Bravo, Simmons, Edwards, Braithwaite like to be included.
apart from Shive oly Gayle and Sarwan can claim anything like the same.
when the chips were down in the ODIs to date none of the batsmen knew how to carry-on when they managed good starts.
imagine if shive had opened with simmons instead of smith what wud have been the case?
as I see it shive..more than Gayle, sarwan, sknash ...is the presence absolutely essential to set up the middle in tests, and opening in the absence of barath and gayle in ODI

Shiv has been off form for over a year, he was garbage in the SL Tests and clearly isn't the batsman he used to be, he's been arguing with the WICB lately so expecting him to be picked would be naive, as for Nash, we've had that debate before and it's boring, the man is the vice captain for the Tests apparently so i'd say he'd have a good chance of taking it from Sammy, IMO GETTING SAMMY OUT OF THE TEAM IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN WHO CAPTAINS THE SIDE!!, also Shiv opened the batting in the world cup against Ireland and was POOR again, so i don't agree that he would have made much difference to this ODi series.

noball these days is a serious crime changes match situation totally at times so until he gets over it...he should stay in HPC..and jerome taylor should be there but he is in ipl so carlos brathwaite should be tested??
Plus wdo you think HPC in barbados is the reason behind so many cricketers talented i mean coming out of there???? is there no HPC in other parts of WI?
