make hay bwoy :D
Howdy everyone. There is an argument that goes something along the lines, "one man's wealth is mere richness; while another man makes his a matter of fortune".

Mapoui, thats a factual observation you make about the circumstances of Fudadin's selection, however he still has to bat. As I listen to the game I feel a calmness and undefinable sense of reassurance with him at the crease - in contrast to the displays of Kirk Edwards during this series.

I don't mean to be controversial, but how many innings had Kirk Edwards played on this tour without ever looking like he was gonna score 20? Answer: every one that he played. And now that changes have sort of been forced onto the selection committee, can either Deonarine nor Fudadin feel that good performances will be rewarded with selection for the next test match? No. This is Fudadin's first game and he is six runs away from matching Powell's highest score in 5 Test match innings. More importantly though Fudadin has been scoreless for over twenty deliveries with no signs of the pressure of dot balls threatening to force him into contributing to his own dismissal. West Indies 124/3 (51.1 ov) MN Samuels not out 22; AB Fudadin not out 28.

fudadin is not a great prospect HowzdAT. he is 26-27 with an average around 30

he clearly was nervous but making his debut away from home he has done well.

at the end he demonstrated a serious weakness. Bresnan freaked him out with a bouncer. he therefore can expect a lot more to come in the future until he deals faithfuly by them.

by the way I dont think overall that Fudadun is a better batsman than Kirk. Kirk has outbatted him in the westindies and done well in tests so far...save n these english conditions.

Kirk has failed in england first time much like Richie Richardson failed the first time and went on to do great things. Kirk will be tears in hot weather for most teams..and in england too when and if he learns how to plaY there

Fudadin out like an Indian team player, by bouncer.
