There is only one side looking professional and it is not Windies! I wonder what the windian press will say???

AFRO seh dat all told is not much to be bothered over.

We will see.
West Indies 116/8 (20/20 ov)
Ireland 117/4 (19.1/20 ov)

with all the "Big Hitters" WI have, Ed Joyce just won the game for Ireland with less than a run a ball ..." Ed Joyce (lhb) 40 49 2 0 81.63"

In a perverse way I am pleased as I hope it high lights the need to make management change.

Earlier I posted what I feel should be the test team and the adjustments that should be for the other formats.

I stand by that.
I had expected the test squad to be this by now but a couple have Lost their way.

Barath
Brathwaite
Chanderpaul
Lil bravo
Powell
Fudadin
Ramdin
Holder
Narine
Rampaul
Roach

For ODIs, I would have Gayle replace Brathwaite, Powell replaced by big Bravo, Fudadin replaced by Pollard, rest the same.

Fudadin might seem a strange choice but when I have seen him, he has been a gritty fighter and did quite well when given a chance. He seems to be out of favour.

The Skipper for tests and ODIs would be Ramdin.

For T20s I would replace Shiv with who ever, this is a format I have little time for. Captain Big Bravo.

Samuels is a notable omission as, for me, he is a proven and certified failure. Yes 2012 was brilliant but after about 50 tests his numbers are piss poor, although he has the occasional good innings.

Overall given where Barath's is right now, I would have to have Kirk Edwards in for tests and eventually ODIs when Gayle departs.

Thoughts?

I didn't see the crowd, but I'm willing to bet that hardly anyone turned up at Sabina Park for the farce that has become West Indies cricket....

As we can see from this photo, there are as many empty seats as there are occupied....

Compare that to the support for Jamaica in the CPL, where Sabina Park was sold out to the point where fans were sitting in the aisles. I'm telling you, the support for the West Indies has received a new low...fans are more likely to support their national teams, that to support their regional team.

And Dave Cameron says we MUST improve, as if we can't sink any further!

Yes mike!!..i'm sure te WHOLE OF ENGLAND would be rushing like mad to go and see Ireland!!

Furthermore comparing this to th CPL is plain STUPID and just sums up how IDIOTIC you are!!..the CPL have major promotions and even bus in some fans!!..furthermore the "Talahwas" aren't just made up of Jamaican players!!..therefore they are "supporting" players from all over the region!!..we'll see how much you run your big mouth when we play your country soon!! 8-) .

The Tallawah (I refuse to call it the Tallawahs, because you cannot pluralise that word - if you were Jamaican, you'd know that) always had a majority of Jamaican players, in some matches ranging from all 11 playing, to about seven or eight playing, and the Jamaican fans came out to see their Jamaican stars playing.

I see you admit that the CPL is much better at promoting cricket matches than the WICB...which we all know is a patty shop operation!
:P
That is part of the reason why West Indies cricket as a brand is dying....

And here is another source for concern:

http://www.espncricinfo.com/westindies/ ... 20925.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

"For West Indies, it was their fifth T20 defeat in a row; hardly the sort of form you want to be taking into a tournament as defending champions."
Yes, Bally, it seems that Phil Simmons is looking to be a better coach than Otis Gibson by a country mile....
