Once you read the whole thread you see that's exactly what some fans are fighting to protect, with no regard for performance or player production.

It gets better yet, its not 27%, that was a missprint, its actually 27%MORE than the next biggest recipient.

:ugeek: I only recalled it from my memory of a live press conference in FEB 2014, which has no written documentation. http://www.windiesfans.com/forums/viewt ... cb+presser" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" in response to one of the shills many wild claims, read the thread and you might understand that better.

However, it was accurate enough for the purpose of this thread, your first post attests to that :!:

Muirhead : We will be number one in at least 1 format during the next cycle, having done some introspection we recognise the our game needs improvement, we will be rolling out a plan in the next 12 months.

Cameron : Leewards receive 27% more development funding than the other territories.
:?: Why you so mad anyway Mail, is it because you are the only poster on this thread who knows Pybus personally that doesn't get to meet for weekly consultation 8-) . Give him a call...

Anyway, when you next see Pybus and dem tell him me seh birds of a feather flock together - because theres added safety in numbers and if he needs ideas for a US franchise you have my permission to cut and paste all my relevant points, and present them as your own. :D FOC

Amid talk of conflicts of interest, strike action and moral being at an all time low the West Indies pull off a convincing, and highly unlikely, victory to go 0 - 1 up in the series.

A century from the recalled Marlon Samuels, aided by a Denesh Ramdin 50 saw the team score a massive 321 runs, batting first.

India, whos spinners gave up 144 runs in 22 overs, never came anywhere close to that and were eventually bundled out 124 runs shy of the total.

MoM M Samuels. CV rating 10

A solid 97 from Dwayne Smith and 3 wkts for Jerome Taylor was not enough to prevent India winning the 2nd ODI by 48 runs as batty rida, Raina and Kohli all register half centuries to help square the series 1-1.

Losing 7 wkts for 45 runs ensures a CV rating no greater than 4.

The 4th ODI, the third was cancelled because of extreme weather conditions, sees India go 2-1 in the 5 match series as a Virat kohli century is backed by solid 50's from Rahane and Raina.

Batting 2nd West Indies never looked like overhauling India's massive 330 although Marlon Samuels did continue his good form with his second ton of the series and was assisted by both Bravo and Russell who scored 40's.

Scapling only three wickets, for 330 runs and starting the run chase on the back foot, from which they never left, leaves the team with a competitive value rating of 5.

Here are some real figures....

http://www.theaustralian.com.au/sport/c ... 0ff5bcbd39" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

'The WICB began the 2013-14 financial year with a debt of $US5.6m. Retained income was $US128,090. For perspective, they spend quadruple that figure on “balls and gear”, according to their financial reports. The WICB’s latest report says: “There is substantial doubt the company will be able to continue as a going concern.” And that was before the proverbial hit the fan. Bravo waved goodbye to the Dalai Lama at Dharamsala and fired off an email to the boss of the Players Association, Wavell Hinds, to protest against Test, ODI and T20 payments being slashed by 75 per cent without the players’ consent or knowledge. Nil compensation was being offered for the use of intellectual property. Playing fees from the ICC were virtually wiped out. “It is without question that we want to see West Indies cricket rise again and we are very committed to that process,” Bravo wrote to Hinds. “But the way it is being done is most unfortunate and unacceptable. We believe we are being hoodwinked and are being treated like little schoolboys, yet we are being asked to perform and play against professionals.” The BCCI has responded to the Windies player strike by suspending all future tours to the Caribbean. It’s another nail in the coffin. India’s most recent tour of the West Indies generated $US22m for the hosts and kept the sport afloat for the past three years.'
