If anyone here thinks what Gayle said is the absolute truth about what has transpired is either extremely foolish or very naive....
Jala, think what the team environment must be like when you have a players like Gayle speaking out. is it a productive environment? is it a professional environment?

Is Gibbo a bully of a coach?

is he an abusive coach?

is he telling player A to go out there and perform so player B don't play again?

Roach doesn't seem to think so!!.. who did he run to when he got his hattrick the other day?

is he an abusive coach?
Don't know, but i hope he does put licks pon dem when the situation calls for it,

is he telling player A to go out there and perform so player B don't play again?
What you mean like how Darren Bravo totally outshined Shiv in the SL series? i don't know!! , but if "player b" (Shiv) can't put up the numbers then he's only got himself to blame,

Now i have a question for you, WHICH COACH DO YOU WANT TO REPLACE GIBBO?

let's go along with your example, even-though these two players mentioned above are not competing for a spot.

What if Smith is being told to do the same so Gayle don't play again, or Sammy being told to do so to push Bravo out? etc. is it a healthy environment?
These guys should play as a team, no?

Williams will pick the coaching temporary, til we find the right coach who will bring the team back together and take it from there...We need a real coach..

But what do you mean "what if"? WHAT YOU'RE SUGGESTING IS PURE SPECULATION, not FACT, and to be honest even if it was true Smith would have to go out there AND PERFORM BETTER THAN GAYLE, which in turn would benefit WI cricket, so whats wrong with that? :|

I told you already that Williams already failed as a stand in, SO COME AGAIN please!! .

No head coach Bally. deh are a waste of money. the cappo is all you need at the top.

you need a batting coach, a bowling coach for pace and one fuh spin..a keeping coach if dat necessary..fielding coach..watever coach is necessary you hire one.

dat is what deh are doing but they still having a head coach which is not necessary if yu still have to hire wat I call position coaches

anyway by the time a player reaches the top level of the game why is coaching necessary?

seems to me at that level spot coaching work can become necesary in response to needs as they crop up. wen dat ois necessary there ought to be ebough coaches working in the game in the region anyone of whom can be called in to clear up problems as they occur.

what is essential at the top level is physios and conditioners, doctor on call at games, sports psyco who with a team like the westindies shud have a lot of work to do. the psyco ideally shud be the manager of the team. or else the 2 must work closely, along with the cappo.

but the cappo is the man...shud be the main man in the leadership mix

I am yet to see a fully fledged rationale for the employment of a head coach in cricket.

I wish someone would show me a rationale, something written out by a cricket board or the ICC..or by a team of expert structural analysts of cricket... that explains how a head coach in charge of cricket teams more powerful than the captain is necessary.

I am waiting patiently!
