Roach is another one who struggled in the Big Bash...in his last match for Brisbane, he bowled four overs for 0-36.

Just stating facts, Afro....

This thread is about "lick it" cricket, in case you hadn't noticed.

Another poor match for Roach...four overs, 0-31.

He most likely won't get a shot in the finals game because I'm sure there are better pace men on the Australian teams than him. But judging by the performance of Roach and I know this is just a T20 game, should he be allowed to go to Australia for the upcoming ODI series? :?

Roach bowling better in the final...two overs, 1-7 so far.

Roach takes two key wickets in his final over, and finishes with 3-18 from four overs. He may well have just bowled Brisbane to victory.

Like Gayle, he had a poor season, and like Gayle, he finished it off with a good performance in his last match.

And unlike Gayle, Roach's performance wasn't in a dead rubber but in a tournament finals.

I hope his recent form with the ball Roach can carry this over to the ODI series in Australia.

Player of the match NM Hauritz (Brisbane Heat)

Why Haurtiz over Roach?

Because Hauritz is an Aussie and Roach is a West Indian? Shouldn't Aussie bias be obvious to everyone by now? :?
