I think the second quote in bold sums up my feelings about his "stride" across the field sidepiece!! . Look no-one is denying that Bolt is a brilliant runner...the bottom line though is if it wasn't for genetics he'd be less of a force regardless of how "hard" he trains.Gils wrote:Affers, theres a queue star.
A debate goes thru stages of progression, we cant just skip over or disregard points that have already been raised until both parties have agreed, or disagreed, to their validity.
yes mike!!..it's obviously "training" and not his LONG STRIDE across the field that has allowed him to break records
It is your main assertion, your whole argument is hinged around it, without it you have very little to go on, except the GENETICS theory, that mapOui " didn't see ".
If Bolt's long legs give him such an edge, why haven't there been more tall sprinters
If your theory holds water, there should be a perfectly reasonable answer to this question, but you have yet to provide one.
MICKY ARTHUR SET TO REPLACE GIBBO?!!

I haven't rejected your long stride theory, I only ask for a proving. If you can answer the ? to my satifaction then I'm quite prepared to accept your claim of " lies ".If Bolt's long legs give him such an edge, why haven't there been more tall sprinters
However, the " evidence " Prokopy puts forward is in three different components.
1 Force of stride. 2. Length of stride 3. Frequency of stride
(1) " Bolt's foot explodes off the ground with more than 1,000 pounds of force, compared to the 500 pounds of an average person ".
(2) ' his stride is nearly 8 inches longer ".
(3) " his stride frequency is about the same as his competitors ":
You only address one of these components, so your long stride theory, by Prokopy's reckoning, can only be 33% accurate, at best, (if all components are given an equal weighting)
" He's been able to marry tremendous GENETIC ADVANTAGES with a TON OF PRACTICE AND WORK ETHIC," said Prokopy.
Tbh, not the most well planned or detailed approach as Prokopy's statement clearly states " genetic superiority " ." and improvements thru training, with coach Mills ".
Unless you don't actually agree with Prokopy at all, or can prove a " genetic advantage " is in someway ......." inferior ".

So, is a " genetic advantage " inferior " or " superior " to a " genetic disadvantage ":, think carefully.hence ITS A GENETIC ADVANTAGE
so his theories on the " genetic superiority " of Jamaicans don't trouble you enough to call him fascist
i do not recall saying anyting like that!!...but that's him all over, when him rass get beat HIM START MEK UP LIES!! .

Yeah, you start expand out your talking point now eh. But Prokopy don't mention nothing bout " body mass or skeletal structure ". Link lolAFRO wrote:Usain has the perfect ingredients of HEIGHT, good muscle mass and a frame that carries all of that in sync....all things you can't "train" a person to have hence IT'S A GENETIC ADVANTAGE sidepiece!! .
Height, we can all see he's tall, that don't take much scientific process to arrive at.
I only asked one question, based on his height ".
If Bolt's long legs give him such an edge, why haven't there been more tall sprinters.

SIDEPIECE!!...before i respond to your "height" question...i want you to remove yourself from your computer, pick up a dictionary and please come back and tell me the difference between the words "HE" AND "ALL"...because apparently you don't know .

You funny boy, you start with long stride, then bring in Prokopy, only to distance yourself from that claim...then move onto height and body mass, " frame and sync " (whatever those last two are) and now its English dictionary lol .
Bolt has only one of the 19 medals on show, none of the other 18 Jamaican medal winners share his height, body mass, " frame, sync ", length of stride, frequency of stride or force of stride.
If we disregard Bolts medal, Jamaica still come out top of the medal table, how does your theory cater for that....
(1)JAM 10 gold 3 silver 6 bronze
(2)AUS 8 gold 1 silver 3 bronze
(3)ENG 5 gold 13 silver 9 bronze
(4)S A 3 gold 4 silver 2 bronze
(5)N Z 1 gold 2 silver 2 bronze
While still evading this simple ?

Do you know what "PERFECT INGREDIENTS" means? ...clearly you never took my advice where the dictionary is concerned .Gils wrote:has the perfect ingredients.
...good muscle mass ..... :all of that in sync....all things you can't "train" a person to have
(2)Balance can be improved with a skipping rope
(1)Muscle mass can be improved with weight training
