Only the blind can't see. The WICB trough dwellers need to read braille.

Dowrich out for a duck!

Holder out for 18 . Eight down.

Yasir gets five! Joseph out for one.

Gabriel out for a duck! Yasir 6-63. West indies 152 all out.

Chase 16 not out. He clearly can't bat with the tail.

The worst thing about this Test team is that it's going to get crushed, and in the process become the first West Indies Test team to lose a home Test series against Pakistan....
Let me give you a hint...he's an ENGLISH, WANNABE SKUNT WHO IS BITTER THAT HIM SENIOR BOYFRIENDS GETTING SACKED ONE BY ONE!!!

I told you skunts that di PM was in FULL CONTROL!!!..and now every team getting packed full of COTR STUDENTS to rhatid :D ...

This is what POWER brings you dunces!!!..I told you it's GUYANA AND BIM'S time now!!!..and if Blacky doan get him act together Yard won't even have a horse in di race to rass  .

I was stating a simple fact. Bravo is badly missed in this poor side. Once bravo is out Samuels and Blackwood should have been retained. Yes they are inconsistent and average just over 30. But it's better to have these two than batsmen who can only dream of averaging 30 in test cricket.

The test averages of the following batsmen show that they are not as good as Samuels and Blackwood. ...

Powell
Hetmyer
Shai Hope
Singh

By dropping Samuels and Blackwood the selectors ensured that not even rain could save them from defeat.

Having watched the warm-up game Pakistan looked very ordinary to me!!..not that it's gonna matter on Friday, but let's not act like we're taking on India, SA or Australia here.
If Pakistan are ordinary what does that make the west indies? Bishoo Gabriel and Joseph get a wicket each as Pakistan win by seven wickets.

Pakistan might not be in the class of South Africa Australia India but they are much better than the C team!

Anyone with a brain knew we'd miss Bravo!!..he is afterall a world class batsman. Blacky is a strange one because he often gets a 50 here and there but how long can we go on with him stinking up the place in the PCL? Surely he has to take some responsibility for his growth as a cricketer and look to get better? And the Samuels situation has already been mentioned. He's not bothered about the PCL and has been moaning about the pay bracket of playing tests!!. That, combined with pathetic form at test level is the reason why he wasn't selected and he can have no-one to blame but himself.

And POOgley may be laughing, but the fact is it was the THREE GUYANA MEN who really stunk up the joint in this test :? . Hetty, Singh and Bishoo just weren't good enough. At least in Hetty's case he's young and showed glimpses of his talent, but Singh and Bishoo? No sah!!!..pure trash. Hope was a disgrace too and needs to be dropped.

Powell
Brathwaite
Hetty
Blackwood

Chase
Dowrich
Holder

Gabriel
Joseph

The three players I'd drop are Hope, Singh and Bishoo...but will they be? I have my doubts.

I also doubt there will be any significant changes...maybe someone sits for Blackwood, but I doubt we'll see much else.

The problem is that the cupboard is bare. Only three batsmen scored more than 500 runs and still averaged over 45 in the PCL - Shiv Chanderpaul, Kyle Hope and Jahmar Hamilton. The fools in the WICB forced Shiv to retire, and he's now playing county cricket in England, so that door has closed. So, we're left with an opening batsman and a wicketkeeper, who probably won't do much better than Shai Hope or Vishaul Singh.

Anyway, I'm off to Jamaica the end of the week, for a couple of weeks, so I will only come on sporadically. I'll be busy presenting a paper at the ACIJ on the Maroons, and doing further research in the AICJ. I doubt many peeps in Jamaica will be following the Test series, but I will try to tune in from time to time. Most of my time will be taken up preparing for my return to Jamaica, which will be for good, hopefully before the end of the year!

Congratulations mikesiva and enjoy the trip. Insofar as the recently concluded test goes, I decided NOT to follow it from the time of my last post, which was on the stroke of Pakistan being all out. Insofar as West Indies second innings batting goes, I understand that the writing was well and truly on the wall before the close of play on day 4.

To my mind it doesn't matter who gets selected because West Indies losing the game with the ball, with the bat & in the field. The standard is just not good enough.
