It just wasn't good enough from Hope, Hetty and Singh!!..In Hetty's case I believe he will learn from this and come back stronger. The boy has a lot of talent, even more than Darren Bravo at a similar age, so I'm not worried about him. Singh though? At 28 the door will not be open forever so he needs to find something in the second innings or else he could be in trouble.

Hope too has loads of talent and has impressed in the ODI's already. He just needs that one big innings at test level to give him some belief that he does belong at that level. He's still young so he can come back but after this series he'll need to go and work on his game because I can't see him going to England in this form.

Kraigg has been poor by his standards but sooner rather than later his class will show so I ain't worried about him. Powell continues to get starts and that's encouraging. But he's gonna have to start making these starts count soon!!..

And what can be said about Chasey? Absolute masterclass from the young man. And it should give everyone confidence that we still can produce decent batsmen in the region who are not only decent at regional level but can go on and perform at test level too.
