Windies Head Coach, Captain for press briefing

The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) this afternoon said that West Indies Head Coach Ottis Gibson and newly appointed Captain and Vice Captain Darren Sammy and Brendan Nash will host a media briefing tomorrow in Kingston, Jamaica.
The press conference will be aired Wednesday October 20, 10am
(Jamaica time, 11am ECT),
The WICB said Gibson will field questions from the media regarding the upcoming West Indies tour of Sri Lanka while Sammy and Nash will tackle questions related to their recent appointments in addition to the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka.
The media are invited to the briefing which will be video and audio
streamed in its entirety live on WindiesCricket.com. There will also be live
text commentary of the media briefing on WindiesCricket.com and updates on
Facebook (Windies Cricket profile) and Twitter
(http://www.twitter.com/westindies" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;).
Journalists who will not be present at the media briefing are asked to
submit questions via email to media@windiescricket.com. A selection of
questions will be posed to the panel by the moderator. link

why is the chief of selector, Butts MISSING at the press conference? Is he on a gag order? If so, why?
Why is Sammy selected captain and he can't make the test team on merit?
If West Indies wanted a specialist captain, why isn't Ganga selected instead of Sammy?
