moreTrinidad and Tobago wicketkeeper Denesh Ramdin is being given a second chance to impress the West Indies selectors after he was named in the regional "A" team's One-day squad to face Pakistan "A" in three 50-over matches in Grenada starting on Tuesday.
Ramdin was left out of the senior squad for their tour of Sri Lanka later this month and was denied a central retainer contract, however chairman of selectors Clyde Butts said the 25-year-old's experience at the top level is just what is needed to help develop the next crop of West Indies players.
"This is an opportunity for Denesh to regain some confidence and form even as he helps to develop younger players by imparting knowledge gained while playing for the West Indies senior team," said Butts.
