Bishoo is Cricketer of the Year

NATIONAL right-arm leg-spinner Devendra Bishoo was on Friday last named the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) Senior and Regional Cricketer-of-the-Year by the selection panel, while Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club (RHTYSC) was named the Club of the Year for the second successive year.
Former West Indies Under-15 right-arm leg-spinner Amir Khan has been adjudged the Junior Cricketer-of-the-Year as well as the TCL/West Indies Under-19 Bowler-of-the-Year, with Malteenoes Sports Club (MSC) left-handed batsman Kwame Crosse being recognised as the Under-19 Batsman-of-the-Year.
RHTYSC’s Shemaine Campbell emulated her club by being named the Female Cricketer-of-the-Year with her club mate and national middle-order batman Royston Crandon winning the Domestic Cricketer-of-the-Year.

congrats to all the winners, esp Bishoo!
however fans, don't expect to see Bishoo in the WI colors anytime soon. I know...it makes sense to give him a decent run, but we are talking about WI selectors. when the last have then done anything that maks sense??

Well Bis has been doing good job lately and did well on the A tour...He has to keep knocking... Like the Boomer seh....higher standards..
