Should the WICB continue to offer contracts to Gayle, Bravo & Pollard or avoid it to save face?

Based on recent events it looks like they prefer to ply their trade on the T20 circuit...

What should the WICB do?

I think it messes up the team planning when you have players who might not be available when you need them. Having these players in and out of the team could also disrupt the team dynamics ... What say you?

Well the players said that they are committed to WI cricket but yet they don't want to seal it with a signature... Talk is cheap ..

If there is no Calendar for the next season better not give them contract and get insulted. Also I am not sure why it should be a problem Discussing with the Individuals before extending them a contract?

I think the WICB should still offer the trio contracts....

That way, if they turn them down again, they can't complain when the WI selectors omit them. If the WICB don't offer them contracts, you will have the usual fight-gainst complaints....

good idea...bnut why is it a good idea and not actually wicb policy to have a decent friendly and positive relatiohsip with its players...westindians like themselves.

the way Hunte and dem behave its like the players are 3- fingered, horned aliens.

it mus' be hard for the players concerned even if deh making more money than the wicb paying them. its hard to be in demand and cyar take easily, opposed to a choice dat also mus' have serious emotional baggage..to make the money or be loyal to home.

there is much risk in taking the wicb money in their circumstances, especially the fact that the wicb is a dishonest and corrupt organisation. it is easier for the players with no option but to take it.

in this case I look at Gayle Bravo and Pollard with sympathy even as deh make some bucks. good for them. were I the wicb I would allow them to, and develop a means to have then integrated into the westindies team anytme we needed them

They already showed their intentions.... Why would they want the contracts tossed back in their face again?

They should used these players on a series by series basis depending on availability until they come to the board ...

really? WICB working on phasing out the trouble makers ... They can still be selected if there are available but contract means commitment. just like marriage ....not living home :)
