nice batting order taking shape..lil Barath is very good as he proved in Oz.. ronnie is back. the captain looks very good, big, muscular, fit, personable, capable in front of the mike and cameras..and he hit a few balls last night. BUT........

yeah...Both of Barath's tons were on the road... Batting looks good but I have concerns with the bowling dept.

wat yuh mean but wat? he is not good enuff. I wud pik D-Wayne Smith ahead of him any day..better bowler, brilliant fieldsman, crazy batsman who is better anyday dan Sammy.

Russell is younger and faster, a real potential whose development must not be held back for anyreason....

Ravi is a better bowler and can bat. Bernard too, and Bravo of course, if he decides to play when he is in maroon :x

anyway I like Sammy as a player for the very reasons they talk about him. he is an impressive all-round personality so I like to remind myself of dat fact when I speak of him.

I dont want to go overboard with the negatives about him, to submerge my awareness of his quality as a human being

but he, Sammy, is not good enough despite that fact an his inclusion does not make the team better but weakens it.

we cud be watching the likely ruination of a solid young man by the casting of him into a position that carries little obvious benefit for him as he is, only real danger to his general standing in the game and in the region.

I hope he comes out of this well!
