Richie is not the type of westindian player than can be said to be worrell-like. but even if of some similar mind he wasnt a direct part of the skuntery factory, at factory road.
given the way he is I dont see Richie having much of a role in westindies cricket. but the big skunt latched onto him for these very reasons. he did not choose Viv as a magnificent talsimanic and inspirational type of manager/leader as he was as a great batsman....
or Andy as a morose yet poweerful and determined, and very smart manager as he was a fast bowler.... even Ambrose, another such type of sulky but winning personality...
or the very gregarious and socially capable Baptiste...
...or over in the windwards Sebastien or one of the shilingfords, or another of their greats even if only at the reginal level but a westindian oriented personality anyway....
