QUEEN’S Park Cricket Club has been given the green light by the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board (T&TCB) to select West Indies stars Kierton Pollard and Darren Bravo in their squad to play T&TEC Sports in the final of the Sunday League 50-Overs competition on Wednesday, March 30, 2011.
This was confirmed on Monday by Jeffrey Guillen, manager of the Parkites who said a full-strength team including the exciting duo just back from World Cup duty in India will be available for the day-night final to be staged at Guaracara Park in Pointe-a-Pierre.

That's a good sign that Pollard should be available to play for Trinidad in the semi-finals of the domestic four-day competition....
If that's the case, then it will be the first time KP's playing a game that lasts longer than a day in about two or three years.

To recap: T&TEC made 250 for six off their 50 overs with T&T wicket-keeper Denesh Ramdin hitting 113 to send a clear message to the regional selectors that he is ready to make his return to the regional squad.
Ramdin offered two channces at the start of his innings but was almost perfect until he tried to go for another six and was caught on the fence hy Runako Morton who is retruning to the QPCC team following his arrest a few weeks ago.
The first prize is $110,000 and the runners up will get $70,000.
IPL star Kieron Pollard is also back with the Parkites and is in the T&T 13-man squad to face Jamaica on Friday.
He will be keen on getting a big score today to help Queen's Park put up a good fight.
West Indies batsman Darren Bravo is also back for the defending champs and hee will want too turn his form around after a poor showing in the latter stages of the ICC World Cup.

After 8 overs: QPCC 51/1 (Guillen 24 c Kelly b Emrit 24, Morton 19*)
T&TEC finally gives the ball to Rayad Emrit who replaces Blackburn from the River End. He has been an key bowler for T&T in the four-day game and has done for T&TEC as he removes Guillen with the last delivery of his first over.
Darren Bravo is the new batsman.
