Should the supposedly committed Sammy resign from the captaincy for the good of West Indies Cricket?
Vote here.
It's obvious that Sammy cannot make the team on merit. If Sammy is committed to West Indies cricket then he should do the right thing and step down. He might have the backing of the coach, Gibson who is working for Sammy's countrymen Huntes and Hilaire. Wonder why?
The West Indies team is divided, Coach is backing a failed captain yet calling out proven senior players. Sarwan and Bravo was in the bathroom against England.... Why?
Richie talking to youngsters, why?

Of course Darren 'Dennis Atkinson' Sammy shud resign!
Sammy appointment represents a unique westinain problem.....the particulary flavour of our insularity.
the Dots traditionally marginalized by the 'big' terroritories have captured the wicb power and with it are repeating the mistakes of the big territories. they are using the wicb power for what they see as their sub-regional benefit.
but what they see as their benefit is back to the past, a type of parochialism that is equal to the racist favouritism in westindies cricket all the way up to Frank Worrell. the Dots are undoing Worrells conception that Lloyd carried forward, by selectng their own worthy or not
the Dots signalled their intention by Omari Banks before the better regional spinners. like Atkinson earlier Banks with beginners luck set up a westindian record. he has not achieved that level of play since since.
there is no decency to what the Dot are doing, it is just simply what it is destructive administrative policy. but they dont care if westindies cricket is destroyed. if they did they wud not do it.
and Sammy himsef has no damm decency. let him prove it by getting out of the way. but he wont. he will stay on ike any greed that lives currntly. thats all we have in latter day capitalism...a corupt global population, all greedy to the point of total insanity, threatening human extinction. a possiblity, now a probaility that looms more evident every single day now!
