After the impressive (competitive?) showing in Sri Lanka with a weakened team and the prospect of a stronger 11 taking the field for a HOME series, I think we have a real chance of doing well man!
I agree with you that we certainly have the players to get the job done (Sammy is not one of them I'm afraid

), especially the bowlers. Man...I really excited about the talent commin through in the bowling department man! We always had a fairly strong batting line-up on paper, but the problem was our inability to regularly take 20 wickets to win matches. I am expecting to see a difference in that regard with the kinda depth I'm seeing in both the spin and pace department right now in the region. Plus, with Gibbo and the CLEAR effect he has had on the bowlers as demonstrated in the WC (against Eng and India especially), I'm expecting good things from the bowlers in particular.
BTW. I see alot of ppl making a big hullabaloo about Gibbo, I think the man has done decently so far. How about u?
Totally agree man, our forte is most certainly in the Test format and i saw some very encouraging signs in SL, yes the rain did save us in the second Tests but it saved SL in the first so i'd say that was even

, i can't wait to see how it all comes together, we made SL follow on who have a much better batting line-up than Pakistan so why can't we do it again? i also have much more faith in our batting line-up with Barath, Nash, Dwayne, Baugh and hopefully Samuels coming back into the fold,
As for Gibbo, well he's been hot and cold imo, but i'm prepard to give the man a fair chance to get things right, Rome wasn't built in a day as they say, it would be great to see what he could do with Edwards, Taylor and Roach together, i'm praying Taylor gets fit soon, if not then i hope Russell, Pascal or Gabriel can take their chance when they get it.
