What about a bowling consultant?

what about a fielding consultant?

Seriously, what impact can Haynes make in such a short time before the games start?

Benny still took a bunch of wickets in the world cup UNDER GIBBO'S LEADERSHIP though!!BallOil wrote:Benny our best bowler regressed under Gibson watch or coaching may I say...
Let's see what Haynes can do in such a short time.... I'm not rushing to praise anyone til I see results... POSITIVE results that is.

hope so too.. but Bishoo is not a product of Gibbo. He came on the scene without Gibson help.AFRO wrote:Benny still took a bunch of wickets in the world cup UNDER GIBBO'S LEADERSHIP though!!BallOil wrote:Benny our best bowler regressed under Gibson watch or coaching may I say...

POSITIVE results that is., furthermore i'd rather have one fail and FOUR IMPROVE than one improve and four fail, Bishoo is the one in the hotseat now and i'm confident he will be a revelation for us over the next few years.

Give me some names that improved under Gibson please?

Of course Bishoo done his own work to make it this far, but he still worked with Gibbo for a few weeks before he made his debut against England!!BallOil wrote: hope so too.. but Bishoo is not a product of Gibbo. He came on the scene without Gibson help.![]()
Give me some names that improved under Gibson please?Actually, prove it too.

As for who's improved, well clearly Roach and Russell have improved, that was evident with Roach's performance in SL where he got MAN OF THE SERIES and also Russell was a sensation in the world cup,
It's not just about individuals though it's also about the bowling unit as a whole, we made SL follow on in their own backyard, that's the first time we've done that to a team in YEARS, we also bowled out two of the best batting line-ups in the game (England and India) for modest scores at the world cup so clearly Gibbo is having a big influence on the bowling unit.
Now if we could just get both Taylor and Edwards into the mix then lord knows what will happen!!
