Guyana’s Minister of Sport Dr. Frank Anthony has dispatched a strongly worded response to WICB CEO Ernest Hilaire, who answered some of the concerns raised by the Honorable Minister in a letter that was sent to Chairman of Selectors of the WICB, Guyanese Clyde Butts seeking clarity on matters relating to the selection process.

Hilaires' ego may have bought a bowl of hell fuh him here. it all depends how far anthony intends to go, how persistently he is.

that first letter was addressed to Butts as chairman of selectors. Hilaire as is his right pre-emepted a buttsy reply...took it upon himself thereby raising the issue to the rafters, assuring it higher visibility.

he shud have let Buttsy respond...and only get in if Anthony persisted and this issue went viral in the region. Hilaire made it viral himsel by answering, himself. he did not wait. he jumped right in.... like he wants a fight.

Anthony made a mistake by adressing Buttsy. he Shud have addressed the Chairman or the CEO whichever was the comeptent highest point to go. Butts is only a functuinary.

if they had let Butts deal with it, it wud have stayed low profile. Anthony would then have to attack the wicb in the media accusing them of hiding from the issue...which wud have made little sense for if he wanted the top brass to deal with the issue he shud have gone to them directly.

Anthony made a mistake it seems which Hilaire corrected in his egotism

Bally! look how Anthony stayed away from boycott based on the dropping of the players.

it is not practicial to boycott for that reason so anthony does not even go there
