Pakistan(80/3) needs 139 more runs with 7 wickets on hand.

WILL THE PAKIS WIN THE PROVIDENCE TEST MATCH ?

What's in Pakistan's favor is the West Indies have forgotten how to WIN.

As a matter of fact the West Indies team is very fearful of WINNING.

Put the West Indies team in a winning position and they will manufacture a way to LOSE.

The only way the Pakis lose this test match is if they bet against themselves.

The catch Lil Bravo floored in the slips off Rampaul's bowling deflated the WI team.

The score would have been 6/4 had Lil Bravo held onto that simple catch. The current score is now 80/3

Like I said, the West Indies manufacture ways to lose.

MY HOPE: The West Indies will miraculously win.

REALITY: Pakistan will persevere and WIN.

Losers always find ways to lose---West Indies will lose the Providence test.

LOSERS DON'T KNOW HOW TO WIN.

I'm still bitter about how we let them off the hook, even after the Bravo drop Sammy hit the stumps and the damn bails didn't come off  , it just wasn't our day, but what gives me hope is the pitch must have got even worser overnight so it will be doing all sorts of things, it's up to our bowlers to get it right now!!, we're not facing Tendulkar and Laxman here!!, if we get two wickets before they reach 100 then imo we'll be well on top,

And as i said on another thread we're gonna see what Bishoo is really made of now, the greats find a way to steal a wicket when it's really needed, he's got Ul-haq two or three in this series already so he needs to repeat that again.

We are all rooting for the West Indies to win at Providence---even if it takes a miracle---many WI fans want a win.

But like I said a team like the West Indies that have been perennial losers, such a team will manufacture ways to lose.

The Bravo dropped catch and the Sammy ball that did not dislodge the ball----those were 2 missed opportunities.

Anyway, today is a new day. Let's see if Roach, Rampaul, Bishoo, and Sammy can miraculously grab 7 wickets.

Right now Pakistan has the edge---the key will be Misbah.

RAMPAUL GETS THE EARLY BREAKTHROUGH
Rampaul to Asad Shafiq, OUT, ripper from Rampaul, this is not a good sign for Pakistan, he bowls Shafiq with a gigantic incutter, pitching around a length outside off, comes in viciously, Shafiq looks to defend that, but he has no chance as the ball zips past the bat and crashes into the top of middle

Asad Shafiq b Rampaul 42 (110b 6x4 0x6) SR: 38.18

Pak 83/4

Rampaul: 13-4-25-3

Pak 122/4

Pakistan needs 97 with 6 wkts intact

PAKISTAN IN THE DRIVER'S SEAT

Roach looks ordinary and Bishoo doesn't look like the terror he was in the 1st innings.

As long as this team continues to carry passengers such as Sammy and Smith, we're going to struggle to close out matches....

Check out the scores from the other WI batsmen in this test:
Lil Bravo: 25 and 8

Sarwan: 23 and 11

Nash: 5 and 3

Baugh: 4 and 7
Looks like there are lots of passengers in the WI.

RE: SAMMY

He is playing as a bowler---and he bowled well in the first innings---took 2 wickets.

PAK 133/4

Easy as ABC---Pak will win

CAPT SAMMY GETS THE BREAKTHROUGH

Danger man Misbah-ul-haq gone
Sammy to Misbah-ul-Haq, OUT, captain removes captain, or does he? referral time, big lbw appeal that was upheld by Bowden, height seems to be a problem here as it hit him well over the knee roll, though there wasn't too big a stride forward, no bat involved, pitching short of a length and outside off, comes in and replays show that was taking the top of middle

Misbah-ul-Haq lbw b Sammy 52 (162b 6x4 1x6) SR: 32.09

Pak 135/5

CAPTAIN SAMMY SHOWING LEADERSHIP GETS ANOTHER WICKET
Sammy to Mohammad Salman, OUT, Sammy is doing it for the West Indies, another wicket for him, the critics can take that, it was another short of length ball angling in, hit him low in front of middle, and that was going on to take out middle, Rehman was looking to defend down the track, played down the wrong line, ball moves in and past the bat, West Indies ahead at this stage

Mohammad Salman lbw b Sammy 0 (2b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

Pak 135/6

Sammy: 9-3-18-2

PAK NEEDS 84 RUNS WITH 4 WKTS INTACT
