Taking 10 or more wickets in a Test match is no easy task. How many and how often this happens in Test cricket?

The bowlers close to 4 wickets average per match in the last 12 years, are Ramnarine, Lawson Roach, and Bishoo. The Black Prince wrote: Check this:
Only great bowlers average 4 or more wkts per test at the end of their careers.
In 98 tests Ambrose took 405 wkts---that's an average of 4.13 wkts per test.
Go and check out shythounds like Fidel Edwards, Jerome Taylor and Dwayne Bravo----tell me how many wkts per test they average.
Hint: all average less than 3 wkts per test---now you know why the WI has struggled to win 1 test per calendar year the past 8 years.

what do you think about Akram?
In 104 tests(181 innings) he took 414 wickets ---that's an average of 3.98 wkts per test or 2.28 wkts per innings. So Akram is a bowling great---he satisfies the minimum 2+ wkts per innings average.
In 132 tests(242 innings) he took 519 wkts---that's an average of 3.93 wkts per test or 2.14 wkts per innings---he didn't average 4+ wkts per test---but he satisfies the 2+ wkts per innings
In 12 tests(22 innings) he took 45 wickets--that's an average of 3.75 wkts per test or 2.04 wkts per innings---he satisfies the 2+ wkts per innings requirement---but he only played in 12 tests.
