it seems the whole world, including some westindians, are organised against the westindies team.

you just defeat the odds the guyanese placed in your way, in guyana..and won!

yu go to St Kits in the expectation of conditions that always existed there an' bam! we all discover that they are the opposite. Pak crumbles, westindies crumble in conditions the opposite of which was supposed to have existed at Warner Park.

it is obvious wats going on. the westindies is such a divided place socially, ethnically, between the classes, the islands and territory, it can hardly get up off the floor as a collective anymore. we are fully engaged in our own defeat

it is better, I see now, that the westindies mash up, each island/territory goes its way. it prolly will happen soon enuff anyway. there seems little reason to persist with this nonsense

the westindies is in much the same mess as pakistan, save the causes are somewhat different.

Pakistan is under attack by the west, through their own elites, causing the social seperation that has the country under threat of mash up.

the westindies is a natural region and nation being kept apart by its elites, sepration of a sort for the purposes of the exploitation of the region. seperation of a sort for their is unity at the top for the exploitation, while all other forms of unification are supressed.

only in barbadosapparently, can the conditions can be counted on to be consistently westindian anymore. the guyanese apparently went out of their way to create as difficult conditions for the westindies as they could.

but how the hell do we explain St Lucia and St Kitts? who the hell are making the pitches there...Pakistani groundsmen?

and we can expect that in Trinidad similary condtions will be as as we got in Guyana, St Lucia and St Hitts.

and at Sabina?

well at Sabina, the Yardies prepared a Lara special to send off our bwoy Brian, a man Yardies clearly do not like. it was a pitch dat gave India a victory...completely opposed to westindies strengths.

in the westindies, division is everwhere...seperation and insularity that has torn the team apart and has it performing under the very greatest presshah. I am not sooprised at all the lack of interest by the players, the dropped catches, the bad play in the field now.

westindies shud suffer a terrible defeat here undoing all the good work dat was accomplished by the first test win...against all the odds. India will mop up the rest.

in the meantime westindies shud give up the ghost. mash up, stop playing cricket and shift west with the regional tide to the continuent. parents shud start teaching their children portuguese and spanish..if not how to be good slaves

there is no way this westindies team can play good cricket anymore. deh represent nothing, no general support through the region.

if for whatever success deh gain team uplift can only be momentary as the team will be robbed of any uplift from it very quickly by the rotteness in regional society

it is a region at war with itself that expresses itself in poor team selection, war between players and admin, all kinda imnsular social antagonisms like the treatment of islanders at each others airports, and in each others countries.

and that is only the start of the trouble in the region dat kills the spirit

there is no way this can come together again under traditional capitalism. its all at an end, finish. only social revolution can save the day. only the rise of the people can push over the old rotten way of doing business and start afresh, energised once again and on a different and positive basis

today I feel sorry for Darren Sammy. I was prepared to give him the benefit of doubt from the start.

then too quickly I began to pan him. then last week he played manfully and demonstrated real commitment and leadership and I began to look at him in a better light.

today dat better light has not diminished but he is up against it in the westindies leading this team, his fragile team spirit wrecked by the conditions at warner park. wot a thing!

all this will make Sammy an old man before his time

if the people who preapare pitches at Warner park only knew deh wud be destroying this strugging westindies team, would they have prepared such a wicket?

would deh care to explain what they did and why...why the pich played as it has over the first 3 days?
