Is Amla the first non white appointed captain for South Africa?

We would never have thought this possible in the 1980s, eh?

I think Ashwell Prince was stand-in captain for a series or two, again due to injury....

Still, that's something that both Prince and Amla have taken on leadership roles in Saffer cricket.

true... I was referring as a appointed cappo ... But, remember when Prince filled in as cappo.. Times have changed mon and quite fast too.. :)
