Beausejour Stadium, Gros Islet, St Lucia... Will be interesting to see which team WI will select for St Lucia against Aus.

I was hoping it was st lucia. I belive that is westindies best chance aganst the oz. very home-oriented scheduling of that match...or the possibility of that match involving the westindies

well you get your wish regarding the ground ...Let's see if WI can engineer a win against this undefeated Aus team.

WI is not out of the woods yet...it depends on the outcome of the games today...
The win against India has kept them in contention, but the huge defeat against Sri Lanka means their NRR is still languishing at -1.075. They'll qualify without the run rate coming into play if they beat Australia and if Sri Lanka lose to India. However, if they beat Australia and Sri Lanka beat India, then NRR will come into play. West Indies currently have a handicap of 19 runs compared to Sri Lanka (refer to the paragraph above), and they'll have to win by a margin that offsets that handicap. A defeat against Australia will put them out of the tournament, regardless of the result in the other match.

The weather doh look good for this match.

If rain wash out the games today...SL will go into the semi with a higher Net RR since both teams will have 3 pts each.

I dont know why the ICC insist on scheduling cricket in the westindies in may...especially in the eastern caribbean {with the exception of Guyana}

may is corn and peas planting time because the rain falls.

its bodi and Ochro time because they grow lush and fat with the water, so dat by end off june/july you eating nice freesh green food

ICC have from christmas to april to work with but they insist on going into may and june. we have been lucky in recent years when the rain did not disrub the cricket too much. that wont hold up!
