not many posters interested in who is responsible are they? we have been here too long, debated this too many times.
regardless of the area of their games we find we now know these players and they are not up to it. Gayle is not Headley, not atlass to come off all the time.
Gayle has no support but he does not have the consistentcy Atlas had
these players have been out there a long time. they have been swept by every good fast bowling team they have ever faced. they have been swept by shane Bond, by that tall englishman wats his name...and repeatedly by the Oz.
they have been swept by Lankan pace as well....Vass and company.
lets face it! our players over the last 15 years have not been up to it. we are not verging on the bottom of the list of cricket playing countries for fun. we have earned it place! we forget that it is 15 years shive has been around now. 10+ for Sarwan, 9 or so for gayle. we know their levels and they arent getting any younger!
its time to accept that fact...that we are not going to win with these guys and move on to the obvious conclusion....we must rebuild!
maybe finally we can come off the high of 20 years of victory up to 1995, accept our reality and get down to the ground and rebuild from there.
we must focus on program...facilities, academy, training. talent search, program of incentives up to modern requirements, ther proper orientation of our plaers althohg that will be the hardest part of the job.
the westindies is an old chumpt region in which he leadership, the dominatt elite classes do not care about the people. the westindies needs to come to grips with its reality socially, the huge negatitive historical baggage we walk with.
if that is not addressed there is no chance we will produce 'citizens' propely rought up and directed with a successful program with which to approach life, to meet and address all challenges our people will meet in life, including representing our selves and the nation with class in all we do.
we used to have such an orientation...and old colonial pone that worked for a while...while we were colonised and for a short while there-after.
but the current world caught up with that quickly, rendering it moot and exposing fthe need for soemthing real, soemthing reaaly independent, the product of an acceptance of our indepence and responsibility for our selves in the world. the only way we can be sufficicent for ourselves is to follow such a program, to addresss and clear away all the old shit that prevents us from doing so.
cricket cannot do that job for us, on its own, accept terribly prepared player, socially incompetent people, and revolutionise their thinking with the wave of an historical wand that includes the names of pantheom..Sobers, hall, Kanhai etc. we cannot wave these in front of their eys and expect that like magic their names would inculcate in modern palyers who have come through a totally inadequate socialisation process on the streest of the westindies, a horribly backward space in global society, a sufficient attitude..sufficient to meet and defeat the world.
Roger Harper was right. we cannot expect cricket to correct the problems socially ill-prepared players. that is not the job of cricket. the society must orient properly its citizens so that those who come to cricket would be emotionaly, intellectually, educationally, completley nationalised citizens, prepared to make the most of the talent they have, to represent the nation with determination, skill, power, like when we were champions.
the nation deserves the citizens it produces. the nation deserves the international representation it gets from the quality of people it produces. if the nation wishes to be represented ina qaulity manner it must see after its citizens.
the nations citizens will return in kind whaveter they have gotten, however they have been brought up. if you bring up a lemon that is what you will get..lemom juice, which needs a lot of sugar to make it palatable.
if you want oranges that need no further preparation...then gron oranges not lemons! you have to prepare the ground to grow great oranges or you wont get oranges at all.

bat and ball is all most of them are capable of. few of them are real westindian in a modern sense because there is now new, modern westindies....just the old decayed, betrayed hulk of the past

now a couple fo generations into independence the old way is gone and unlamented, even for its positives.... but we have built nothing in its place, that identifies us positively.
instead into the vaccum has stepped the american imperum, successor to the british one, and its rotten culture, including racism and degradation of people of colour....that replaces the degradation of slavery, indenture and colonialism...one degradation for the next.
and all the while the traumas of westindian historical experience fester from lack of attention. peoples, brutally, violently pulled from their homes for the purposes of systematic exploitation in a forrin land, forced into the westindies their labour extracted, their old social fabric forever destroyed, left to blow in the wind, beaten, killed and worked to death.
now the westindian elites having sold themselves loc, stock and barrell to ole marse who exercises power from afar now, administratively cost free now, maximum profits, gets the westindian elites to do that administration wuk now, paid for by new taxes on the westindian people.
that is what our independence has won fo us...the freedom to taxed to pay ole marse as he sit s back in london, receiving profits for doing nothng...all faciliated by the westindian elites, who are satisfied with the pittance they are allowed....and the opportunity to be called prime minister, cabinet minister, her majestys loyal oposition, opposition leader, senator and all such empty of power, nonsensical and ridiculous titles.

what the westindian leading classes wont do is to revolutionise regional society, unify it, bring the power home and focuse the resources of the region on the health and wealth of the region and its people. they too busy being traitors for that.

but I getting tired of all this man. I dont see anything in the westindies changing for the better. westindian reality sucks, sinking deeper into the mire by the minute!
I have a real grudge against westindian society as it is, as it has been. I have to admit that!
expiation of that grudge was to really understand westindian society, to learn the causes of my grudge, then to attack that souce and destry it completely.
I found ther answer in the historical development of westindian reality from columbus to now. and as i could not be part of a routine, relentless fight en locus I threw what I thougt was the anwser at the people in any way I could.
I now see the westindies as part of a horrendous global sitautaion most bad for people of african descent who are being exterminated as we speak.
I will get back to this question before I leave for it must be handled in the best, most comprehensive way I know how. but it is my contention that the world has emeged into the economic and social momnopoly predicted by marxism as the logical outcome of laissex faire capitalism, and this arrival means several terminal possibilites for humans, the same time we are face with our greatest social opportuity ever, all a product of our developemtn form the start of our career in existence.
let be suficient to say at this time that there is now, from a capitalist point of view far too many people in the world...that the worlds population is now mostly superfluous systematically, human numbers threatens the stability of the current status quo, and that status quo is determined and focused on global population reduction at all costs.

I have here recent and accepted reports of what actually happened in Rwanda and exposed is the american/french deliberate cuase of that disaster, using one of the greatest butchers of all time the african military leader Paul Kagame, now the dominat power in rwanda, an american/nato puppet, whose military power has been built into formiddable proportions relatie to africa..facilitating the rwandans to intervene all over africa as directed from washington and brussells.
the mess in central africa, in the congo goes on unabated for 50+ years now. it is reported that 10 million + congolese have been killed in that time frame. add rwanda, Uganda, Somalia, the kenyan civil war, the progress of jonas savimbi before he was killed, the depradations of aids, apartheid and the current betrayal of South Africans by mandella/ANC and the RSA blac elites leading to a new situation of desperation for south africans...and now! critically....the take over of african land wholesale by multinational agribusiness and we have a growing reality for the african people of terminal desperation.

and we have seen the start of mass, direct extermination in africa and in the middle east/western asia. and all the reports flowing out of Obamas washington exposes that more of this is scheduled. ameria has been building up fpr war on the whiole world and willextend currnt wars to include every coloured nation n the world. just take a look at how Hillary Clinton speaks to the Pakistanis, who are supposed to be her allies and friends, killing their own people in great numbers to please the americans. what more could the americans possibly want from pakistan? they want to attack Pakistan thats what....attack them and take away their nuclear weapons.
in all this the english westindies is a very weak sister, the westindian people under a lot of pressure, westindians must not wait on anyone or anything but act now to try secure their future. it is possible that nothing short of social revolution in the western power house will save such as we...a revolution that sweeps away the current jewish dominated western status quo and creates a social democracy in its place, focused on the development of western nations, not on depopulating the planet. but if people are going to kill us all anyway there is no alternative but to move, to revolutionaise ourselves, put in proper nationalist and demiocratic government directed to defend the people, by builidbngup an infrastructure that can accomplish such defense.

the westindies must build a comprehensive social infrastructure that meets the needs of all westindians, bringining us into line with developed countries and past them, our people must be able to fend for themslevs at the highest levels possible. we must be able to cure the desease they surely throw at us already....produce all our own food, making sure it is clean and not engineered to kill us off, clean up all that comes at us in the land, the water and air.
we must also make common cuase with out neighbors, join them in opositon to the insanity of eurpoe and its crazy derivative the USA. such common course will help in our defense immensly
westindians must get serious! in all this the english westindies is a very weak sister, the westindian people under a lot of pressure, westindians must not wait on anyone or anything but act now to try secure their future. it is possible that nothing short of social revolution in the western power house will save such as we...a revolution that sweeps away the current jewish dominated western status quo and creates a social democracy in its place, focused on the development of western nations, not on depopulating the planet. but if people are going to kill us all anyway there is no alternative but to move, to revolutionaise ourselves, put in proper nationalist and demiocratic government directed to defend the people, by builidbngup an infrastructure that can accomplish such defense.
and by that I am not talking military because it is too late for that. and we will never have the resources to lavish on arms production like our fascist oliarchs have done. and it is criminal to waste human and physical resources in such a wanton manner, stockpiling arms that reach the clouds, while masses of people starve and die.
the westindies must build a comprehensive social infrastructure that meets the needs of all westindians, bringining us into line with developed countries and past them, our people must be able to fend for themslevs at the highest levels possible. we must be able to cure the desease they surely throw at us already....produce all our own food, making sure it is clean and not engineered to kill us off, clean up all that comes at us in the land, the water and air.
we must also make common cuase with out neighbors, join them in opositon to the insanity of eurpoe and its crazy derivative the USA. such common course will help in our defense immensly
westindians must get serious! I have had my reasons for speaking as I have these years on these msb's. but from what I have seen westindians are convinced to the opposite of what I have seen and partly report here. westindians love their enemies, do not understand their enemies nor how the world works and why the current flows in society is against us and will like end in our destruction. and I am fed up anyway, tired of abuse because of what i say!
I am not the only one saying it. there are others who say it far better than I can. but no one pays them any mind either. and the westindies sail on on its rotten ship of state, led by captains who can read the compass.
