After yet another dismal batting performance in the first innings, SL were skittled out for just 238. Thankfully, Dammika Prasad make the breakthru, with Taufeeq caught behind by debutant keeper Kaushal Silva.

SL are still 50 runs in deficit in their second innings, with Sanga, Mahela and Dilshan all back in the pavilion....
And Afro's saying we can beat Pakistan in the UAE.

Angelo Mathews, a cricketer to keep an eye on. Future Sri-lanka captain?

SL going in with five bowlers in this match, including Kulasekara. I guess they're hoping to finally be able to take 20 wickets in a match, now that they no longer have Murali. But that could backfire on them, because it's shortened their batting.

This series has suffered from a string of poor umpiring decisions, including a shocker from Taufel!
It's really a shame that UDRS is not being used in this series, and it's a disgrace that the ICC have backtracked and not made the use of TV replays mandatory in ensuring that umpiring decisions are correct.
In this innings alone, Dilshan was given not out when he clearly edged a short ball behind, while Taufel gave Mahela out lbw when the ball was way too high....
You don't even need 'expensive' technology to correct those two decisions. Just a simple TV replay.
