Confirmed for Guyana are two T20 International matches on Sunday August 6 and Tuesday August 8 at the National Stadium, Providence. News Room Sport was reliably informed the match times are 10:30h, a common feature in recent years to cater for prime time television in Asia. India last visited Guyana in August 2019 for a T20I and a One-Day International. The matches in Guyana will be the second and third in what is expected to be a three-match T20 series. Reports have indicated the tour will comprise of two Test matches, three One-Day Internationals and three Twenty20 Internationals. It was confirmed on Monday that the first Test will be in Dominica. Matches are also rumored to be heading to Barbados, St. Kitts, Trinidad and Tobago and Florida, but Cricket West Indies has not yet given any confirmation as they finalise plans with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The delays are linked to the ongoing Indian Premier League, India playing Australia in the World Test Championship final and the upcoming Asia Cup. With the success of Central Broward Regional Park Stadium in Florida hosting West Indies matches since 2012 and the massive audience when India visited in 2016, 2019 and 2022, CWI Chief Executive Officer, Johnny Grave, recently indicated they are toying with the idea of Florida hosting again on this tour.
